Hello Crafty people. Are you ready to show your LOVE for crafting in February? Have we got some fun for you! We have 7 hosts who have volunteered to pose 4 challenge each, one per week. That adds up to a scrappy challenge EVERY DAY in February! I hope to put together 28 pages in February. I won't be doing one page every day. There will be some days I can't craft and other days I will be able to do multiple pages. And that is okay b/c there won't be daily deadlines. If you are a card maker, that works, too. Just apply the daily challenges to cards! Or to whatever projects you have on the go. The point is to GET CRAFTY & HAVE FUN!!! But I know a lot of you like to be super prepared for something like this, so thought I would put you on notice so that when February starts your motors are fuelled, revved and ready to hit the pavement. Do you need to pick up some basic supplies (like cs or glue?) Need to print photos from that vacation you wanted to create an album for? (Got the album?) Are the surfaces in your craftroom cleared and ready to get going? Do your supplies and tools need organizing? Maybe you want to put together some kits to get you started? The hosts have been busily planning behind the scenes, and for you people who need to know what they are planning for, here is a sneak peek of their themes. THURSDAYS: Feb 1, 8, 15, 22 crystalb Take 5 Thursdays (stash challenge) FRIDAYS: Feb 2, 9, 16, 23 DawnMcD Lift the PeasSATURDAYS: Feb 3, 10, 17, 24 linda What's the Word?SUNDAYS: Feb 4, 11, 18, 25 lilacgal Say it with Colour!MONDAYS: Feb 5, 12, 19, 26 christinec68 Tic Tac Toe TUESDAYS: Feb 6, 13, 20, 27 JaneB . Template TuesdayWEDNESDAYS: Feb 7, 14, 21, 28 Chinagirl828 This or That?
On the day she is hosting, each host will start a thread with the challenge of the day. You are welcome to jump in any time to encourage yourself and others to take that challenge on. Then when you finish that challenge (not necessarily that day) you can respond in that thread. Would love to see your work linked there too, but if you can't do that for privacy reasons I guess we just have to trust each other . And what could make it even MORE fun? Maybe a little competition! I hope to keep a tally board so I can add up all your projects throughout the month. Who will meet each and every challenge? Who will get 28 or more projects completed? And if not 28, then how many? I may be throwing in a rogue bonus challenge once in awhile as well... Anyway, thought I would give you all a heads up. This is HAPPENING!!! Get ready to HAVE SOME CRAFTY FUN!

I wanna do this! However, my youngest DD is having baby #1 in February so all bets are off! I will be going to see her when DGS arrives!
I will do whatever I can when I can! Thanks to all for pulling this together.

I'm just getting back to scrapping after a 2 yr hiatus though I continued to take lots of photos. I've been playing along with the MOC6 challenge at the Lilypad even though I'm much more of a hybrid/traditional scrapper. It's been good to dip back into scrapping and to get my thoughts and energy flowing. I have several vacations which need to be scrapped...good ol' fashion use up my stash type of scrapping, so bring on the challenges! As for stash buster ideas, I'm with dasmith2 , everything. Eyelets, brads, washi tape, wood veneer, letter stickers, stickers. If you can think of it, I may have it in my stash.

I already know I have no chance of playing in all the challenges but I'm excited to see what I can do. Hopefully this is a good stash busting exercise for me too!

Oooo....thank you. I would like to participate. Other than doing LOAD, one time, I have never participated in a challenge. When I did LOAD, it was digital so I could upload the layouts easily. I will probably need a bit of help from y'all.

I have very good intentions of trying to do the challenge every day. Unfortunately the procrastination gene is very strong in me so I don't know how far I'll get!

You could certainly go digi for this, too, but if you want to use up your physical stash and photograph and post your projects, we can certainly walk you through that process. For starters, if you are not on Flickr, maybe go to our Gallery (click the button above), and sign up for Flickr there. You can then PM admin to ask for permission to join the 2peas group. Looking forward to seeing your creations!

What are some things lingering in your stash that you NEED to use? Scraps. I seriously cannot close my small scraps drawer. And, also, fabric scraps! I've been trying to think of ways to incorporate some of that stash into my pages.

What are some things lingering in your stash that you NEED to use?Pre made diecuts and PL cards. I have collected a LOT of them, and don't use them very often. I am still working on mastering the embellishment cluster and I need some encouragement to take out all those pretty little things and start tucking them in...

grammadee, thanks for giving us a heads up and for organizing this. Thanks to all you are hosting a challenge. I usually feel like I get more time in January & February to craft, but this year hasn't been good for me. Hopefully, February will change that & I can play along.

What are some things lingering in your stash that you NEED to use? Tags and frames. I can use tags ok I just have more of them than I can probably reasonably use. Frames I really struggle with to the point that I no longer buy them although I do still get them occasionally in die cut packs. Alpha stickers, washi, enamel dots, and my stamps are all things that I have too many of. (And now you can all go ahead and make fun of me for listing the things most of us can't scrap without )

Oh this sounds like it could be fun. I haven't scrapped in way too many months. I am sure I won't scrap daily but if I do a few challenges maybe I can get scrapping again.
I love the idea to use your stash. I also need to use my tools- cricut, dies, embossing folders and stamps. I like the idea of sketch challenges and techniques. I don't know what sone of the challenges are by the names but am sure it will be clear in February.

I also need to use my tools- cricut, dies, embossing folders and stamps. I can tell you that my challenges will give you the option to use die cuts (which you can make yourself using your cricut or dies), embossing, and stamps.
