I would love to see an 8x8 size. 2x2 daily number cards or 3x4 daily number cards The 3x8 page protectors feature 2 -3x4 pockets 3x8 papers Solid large wood veneer stars like this year's circles in Ali's kit. Rubber pieces in the form of shapes example- Christmas trees, candy cane, Santa, reindeer, snowflake, elf, snowman Also would like to see things about books, mugs, mittens, cookies, movies, music - Holiday related or just generic forms. I would love to see some Letterpress cards, wood veneer cards.

Great list! Additionally to what you have already mentioned, I would like to see in Ali’s (as I buy hers) or some other kits:
I would love to see more 6x8 papers with big quotes or images, that can be used as-is in the 6x8 pockets without or with minimal decorating.
I’d like to see a journaling card set for 2x2 pockets.
I’d like to see big acetate or paper die-cut words instead of thick cork or acrylic. Every year I am keeping my albums pretty flat to fit all my pages and cannot use too many thick embellishments. I would like to have bold statements in my albums and they usually come in other than paper form.
I also want for Ali to design a plastic envelope, similar to what her kits come in, but Holiday themed, to keep the memorabilia.

I want bright freaking colors! None of this dirty green, orangey red, etc. I totally agree about 2x2 stuff to fit into those pockets! I'd also love more sarcasm or play on words, similar to what KP did for 2016. Maybe an R rated version for the extra special times. Also, maybe some stuff just for documenting music and movies and tv shows. Oh, how about something that says "# of Hallmark movies watched" or something? I'm totally on board for more puffy stickers instead of rubbers and I love the rubbers, but only certain people make them. I'd like to have a good idea of WHO is making a kit and WHAT the colors / themes are by September, pre-orders by end of September/early October, shipped by end of October. I'd totally pre-order with basic info from someone like Feed Your Craft and KP, without a full reveal.

I usually end up making from my own stash because I'd hate to end up (like I did this year) without my planned supplies when I want to work on my album.

I'd love to see less dark colour combos that work for those who don't experience a cold or wintery Christmas. I know Ali had a guest designer kit a couple of years ago but it was terribly childish and ice creams and purple are not what I'm looking for at Christmas. I just want simple patterns and classic Christmas designs in colours that could work with summer or winter photos.

You're going to fall down a rabbit hole. aliedwards.com/blog?tag=December+Daily%C2%AEThere's also tagged stuff on Instagram and stuff on Facebook, but I don't do FB so I'm not familiar with where to locate stuff there. Pinterest, too! Good luck!

I wouldn’t have much to put in a dec daily. I’m single no kids just a dog. This I will pass on.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions! We actually already planned the 2018 December Daily kits in the late fall of last year-- it's a crazy long timeline to get these products made! But I think you all are on the same line of thinking we were on when planning and I'm loving your suggestions!

I was thinking that Ali had stated at some point that she started planning the following year DD products in January. Looking forward to this year and I really hope she likes some of these ideas.

Yes! We used to plan in January, but have bumped it up even earlier this time around.

jstblondie I am single too, no kids, and no pets. But I did December Daily in 2016. I had been seeing so many cute stories/layouts for people's Elf on the Shelf and decided to do something like that. I have a brown stuffed mouse named Charlie and had some layouts with him or told by him. I know that is silly, but I had fun. I also did a layout of my favorite gift I received as child, a layout for my favorite Christmas songs, favorite hot beverage, etc. I also took a few pictures of houses in my town that had pretty lights. I only had a few "December" type stuff to put in, but I had a layout for each of the 25 days. It was fun and I loved doing it, but didn't do one last year (2017), although I am wanting those white chipboard numbers I'm seeing in everyone's videos!!! I may do it again in a few years. Just sharing an idea of what you can do if you want to.

jstblondie I'm also single and have done a DD for the last 4 years. I don't do any daily/weekly memory keeping anymore so really enjoy the different focus. I just document what I'm up to - some regular and some seasonable activities.

If we are talking Ali Edwards, I would like a kit with no quality issues. Even if she does a good job making it right, having to deal with it is still a pain.

jstblondie I've also documented my Dec while being single and living alone (unless you count the two cats). I've also done years where I had a partner but weren't living together so it still involved a lot of my life outside of him. I think there are ways to make the project work for you and current life position, whatever that may be, if it's a project you're interested in.
