I have lost 2 ephemera packs- Pawfect by Kaisercraft and Smitten Kittens by Doodlebug. Yes, I see the irony in that they both are cat themed! I have recently started going to a crop every 2 weeks but am working on holiday photos so no reason I would have taken them with me. I have just spent TOO much time going through everything in my craft room looking for them. I had actually convinced myself that I had not bought them after all until I realised that there were a few elements on a layout that did not come off the Pawfect sticker sheet. And then this morning I found the receipt which clearly says I did buy the Smitten Kittens! I have looked everywhere. Good news- I managed to find them both still available from the same website- so $25 later they are now on their way. Bad news- I GUARANTEE they will now turn up! Corinne

This is always what happens. They turn up either right after I purchase replacements, or immediately after I finish the pages with supplies that are not the ones I wanted to use.

I lost a hairbrush on the bed and can’t get any more of them. This happened yesterday. The bedroom had a full suitcase in it with nothing else. Really. I have over 20 pairs of good scissors and I know where one pair is. There maybe 30 pairs. Ask BFF amblet. I only have one pair of Tim Holtz scissors left.

What drives me crazy is when I put something down because I'm not quite ready for it then when I go to pick it up two minutes later I can't find it anywhere.

My scrappy supplies play hide & seek all the time. Drives me crazy! They only reveal themselves after I have either bought new ones or completed the project using alternate supplies.

See! That's how it works. The fallacy is to be organized. How many times have you put something in a place you will "surely remember" where you put it, and can't find it? It seems, when ever I go to the store I hear a U2 refrain in my head "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For".

I was making cards the other night and lost my scissors. I hadn't moved from the chair. Found them in the trash.

I am seriously considering tying my scissors to my raskog cart so at least I can follow the string to find them. It would also prevent the other people in the house from taking them to other rooms in the house... Two problems, someone would probably just cut the string with the scissors and take them anyway.... or I'd tangle myself up in the string and trip myself. Still it's tempting.
I spend an inordinate amount of time trying to find things that I just had, under other things. If I could only have that wasted time back...

If you ever figure it out, let me know. I don't know how many things I've lost. AND I'm still putting my scraproom together after moving last year. I count myself lucky if I can find anything these days.

I’ll cut a piece of paper, put it on my table, turn away for a moment and it’s gone. Usually I find it stuck to something but every once in a while that piece is gone.

Sometimes when I can't find something and I know I've looked everywhere it turns out it is in the place I looked first... BUT the thing I'm looking for actually looks different than I remembered it looking, so I sort of saw it but didn't recognize it for what it was... I'll remember the size or shape or packaging incorrectly somehow. I figure most of the time my brain actually knows where stuff is - I just have to trust it and not override it with thoughts of "it couldn't be there" or "I've looked there already."
I'm not sure if I should wish you luck in finding your lost kitty things or not, since you've ordered replacements...

I'm convinced it's magic (...or maybe I've read too much Harry Potter?)! 😂

it's not hard if you have as much stuff in your room as i have in mine. if i don't stay on top of keeping it clean and organized, i would lose stuff for sure.
