Just trying to figure out the best way to store the extra photos that I don't scrapbook. I used to have them in plain photo albums but I filled up so many and they ended up taking up too much space. Then I switched to photo boxes but not sure I like that either?? What works best for you all?

I am pretty brutal with photos. I take way too many so before I send them for printing I purge. All the blurry, bad lighting, cut off heads, duplicates get deleted. Then I choose 6 to 8 for my layout. Then I pick the ones that are just too good to not print. What I don't use on layouts go into photo boxes.

Mine are in photo boxes too. It's practical storage.

Yes photo boxes definitely are very practical storage. After thinking about it, that's what I'm going to stick with that.

I don't usually save extra photos I printed and didn't end up scrapbooking (gasp). They are all saved digitally so what's the point? I do use photo boxes for the ones I have from pre digital.

I usually just throw extra digital ones away because I can reprint them if necessary. Older loose originals I just keep in one box as I don’t have that many.
