My grandmother always took an afternoon nap. She would put on pajamas and get into bed. She usually slept about 90 minutes.
I take a nap almost everyday. I have lupus and my body wears out faster. I usually sleep on my big comfy couch with a couple of dogs. I usually sleep for about 90 minutes to 2 hours. My dogs seem to know that I nap around 2 o'clock on the weekends, and when I am not in school. They love to nap with me.

In my 20s I had a roommate that was the same age and she liked to take short naps. I thought it was so weird. If I were to lay down to sleep, I can take a "nap" for like 4 hours. Years later and diagnosed with sleep apnea and other sleep issues, no wonder I can sleep like that during middle of the day. Power naps really never did much for me.
My grandmother had a friend that faithfully took a nap every afternoon. I am sure she changed out of her "dress clothes" into her "nap clothes".

I love naps. They refresh . Not very long, but enough to relax and fall asleep. In an ideal world I would take one every day. It's a great way for me to clear my muddled brain when I've been writing for hours.
I hardly ever take them on the weekends. Probably because I don't tax my brain as much as during the week.

On sundays if I finish everything I take a big ole nap. Not in nap clothes but I do have house jeans that I only wear on weekends.

Well, not that kind of nap! Actually I almost never nap. DH used to nap frequently but he got a CPAP machine a few months ago and now he sleeps through the night and hardly ever naps. Best thing he has ever done!

I love a good nap, falling asleep in front of the TV is such a good, warm, cozy, delicious feeling- I love it when I can do it.

Naps are my guilty pleasure. And I am talking about 2 hour naps, not a 15 minute snooze. Don't get to do it too often, but I sure enjoy a good nap when I do!

I love naps! I used to be more of a nap taker than I am now but still enjoy them. For many years I put my head down on my arm at my work station during afternoon break (everybody is on the same schedule) and I’d sleep for 10-15 minutes. I rarely do that anymore but tend to nap for an hour or so on the weekends.

I love naps! I nap whenever I get the chance. I even remember napping in college, and I actually had 4 suitemates who were nappers too. Napping in bed is the best!

I have crazy vivid dreams if I nap, and wake up more exhausted than before I laid down, so I don't.

I work shift work and swing shifts, volunteer my time every week and am caring for my aging mother. I nap whenever I can. And enjoy every moment of rest.

I try, but don’t always succeed. Sometimes I just end up lying there, dozing in and out. Which I guess is still restful. I hate it when I sleep too deeply and end up feeling hung over afterward.
For me, it’s really about being alone in my room with my thoughts. No phone, no kids.

I have been napping since starting the school musical. I'm at the school full days on Monday and Wednesday’s and half days the rest of the week. I'm not used to the noise level and the full activity going on at school, so I’ve been tired. I try to take a short nap or I won’t sleep all night. Usually I sleep between 2-4 for about 30 minutes.
Weekends, DH and I both snooze on and off, mostly Sundays.

My son does not sleep well. Yes, I routinely take naps when he goes to school and they are long. I hate summer.

I can't remember the last time I had a nap, but the very idea is absolute heaven.
I wake too early. I'm up too late. I generally sleep 4 to 5 hours a night, max.
I work a physically demanding job. And I'm a single mom of four.
I am always exhausted.

Weekend naps are my favorite thing. I lie on the couch and put on a BBC nature documentary. David Attenborough’s voice sends me right off.

Early Fridays from may to Sept I nap. Generally on Saturdays I have a nap. Not on Sundays because I don't go to sleep Sunday night. I get up at 5 during the week. I need my 8 hrs too. So if I wanna stay up past 9 30 on Fridays I nap. I get up on Saturday generally at 7 30 after waking up at 5ish. So come 1 or 2 I am ready for a nap. I sleep with the tv on though so I don't sleep for hours.

I love a good nap. I'd take one daily if I could! I do not have napping clothes but if I am wearing something constrictive or jeans I will throw on some shorts before getting into bed.

I don't think I've ever taken a nap as an adult. My day time is too precious to waste on sleep haha! Even when I had babies and everyone said "sleep when they sleep" I never took a nap. I'd put my baby down for a nap and then I would get out my scrapbooking or sewing and enjoy a delicious 2-3 hours to myself. To me that was much more enjoyable than a nap.

I love a good nap on the weekend afternoons, especially if DH and I are watching golf. That puts me to sleep in minutes.

I do if I’ve been up studying the night before.
Sometimes I just get super fuzzy under a blanket, and I’ll just nap for an hour.

Sometimes on the weekend or during the summer (I’m a teacher) but I have a tendency to nap a little too long and then it’s hard to sleep at night, so I don’t do it very often!

I love taking naps. There's no rhyme or reason to my nap taking. Mostly it depends on my free time. Sometimes, I will take two naps in a week, others times I go a few weeks without a nap.
Once I am home for the day, I change into my pajamas(capri jammie pants, tank top and/or t-shirt). Oh, and socks, I cannot be without socks, no bare feet for me.
I don't wear pajamas to bed. Panties only.

I take a nap almost every day! For me, if I just fall asleep it is as refreshing as sleeping all night. I have trained myself to sleep for 20 minutes (30 minutes if I'm really tired) and although I set the timer on my phone, I usually wake up right before it goes off. If I sleep longer than 30 minutes I feel really groggy, so unless I'm sick, I don't take longer naps. My kids learned at a very young age that life is better if mom gets her nap so they didn't disturb me unless it was an emergency. 😂 I don't HAVE to take a nap if we are traveling or something is going on, but I feel much better if I do.

I take a nap once in a great while. It's always unplanned. Not too long ago I feel asleep in the car shortly after we got onto the highway. I woke up 90 minutes later and we were at our destination. that was pretty slick and I wish I could pull that one off more often.
My husband would sleep in, take a nap, and go to bed early every day if he could. It's crazy how much he is able to sleep.

I love naps. But I hate waking up from them. I’m always groggy and slept longer than I intended to. I get about 5½ hours of sleep a night, and I work 7 days a week when school is in session. I am just one dimly-lit room away from a nap at any moment (now you know why DH will never take me to see a movie...) My favorite kind of nap is on Sunday afternoon, on the couch, with a fuzzy throw on and a chihuahua snoring peacefully in one arm. DH likes to nap daily after lunch, but he has to work again in the afternoon, so it's mostly a summer indulgence.

No, I am not a napper unless I am sick or really tired because I did something out of the ordinary (woke up extra early, back from a trip, etc.). this exactly. You know i'm really not feeling well if I lay down for a nap in the middle of the day SaveSave
