Okay here's my first one!! I used a 4x6 photo, inking, frame, camera, staples, florals and PP!! I love the idea of a Hobbit Thanksgiving, my teenage son already seems to believe in their eating habits anyway. You did a fabulous job on this page. I get that home-y, relaxed and comfortable feel just looking at it.

Right, I'm just posting to see if I can get an image in here..... ooh, it worked! Sorry it's so gigantic. I'll make tomorrow's smaller! I used a frame (of Nuvo dots around the edge), staples, 6x4" photo, inked edges (I inked the woodgrain paper) and patterned paper as a background (this is super hard for me, I'm usually a white background girl!). woodysbetty I love your LO! Great embellishments

Here's my layout. Thank you so much crystalb for posting your challenge last night so I could come up with my plan at bedtime and go straight to work when I had the chance this morning. And thanks of course for thinking it up in the first place. My five are a 4X6 photo, floral paper and washi, frames (I actually used 2, but I stuck them together and hid the seams with die cuts,) brown inked edges, and small alphabet stickers (her name that I added after I took the photo.) There's also a pack of Jolee's stickers sprinkled over the page. That was fun - I'm ready for my next challenge! (Actually, my next challenge is to clean up the mess I made.) crystalb , that's a really cute use of your frames. The pinks and brights in them really balance out all the pink on the left side of the layout. Nicely done! woodysbetty , I loved reading your story - my personal favorite Hobbit meal is elevensies kiwigirl , your papers are a great choice for your photo, and I love all the shades of green!

So far everyone has used wood paper or something close to it! Glad to see all that fabulous wood themed stuff working so well with most any photos.
I did a mini album this week for a coworker who is retiring, and I was inspired by the challenge to stick a paperclip and a staple on 2 of the pages. Looking for other office supplies to add in as embellishments!

First let me apologize for the quality of my photos. My computer is down so I can not access my editing software to crop them down. And no I do not know how to do that on my phone - LOL. I used 4x6 photo, inking, small alphas, frames, pattern paper for the background. Also please note, my photos are placeholders, I scrap the pages first and then order the photos so that is why the photos are not centered on the mats.

@elaynef , that lighthouse is the perfect accent for your page. Was the travel magazine from the trip? Or was it just a happy coincidence that you had the perfect photo on hand? tonyatoo , I love all your layers and colors! maribeth , so great to see you posting - I've missed you! Those tags are fun

Maribeth, I'd love to hear more about your process of ordering pictures after making your layout.

no picture I'm afraid - both because I struggle with adding pictures and because the photo is of DD17 and her BF and his family is cautious about online sharing. my five are: patterned paper background (black with cream writing), florals (3 flowers with brads in the centre - does that count?), camera (QK die cut), 4x6 photo, and small alphas (doodlebug). I really like how it came out and this picture's been sitting on my desk all week while I tried to figure out how I was going to scrap it so THANK YOU crystalb
