Happy Friday! I will be bringing you scrap lift challenges every Friday in February. I will post inspiration from a Pea every week for you to be inspired by. You can be inspired by the general layout, the theme, the colors, whatever makes you happy! Just create something NEW for each challenge and share that you did it and either a picture or a description of what you did so we can all be inspired! This can be a layout, a card, digital, whatever you are inspired to make. Feb 2nd inspiration is by grammadee This is the Layout I chose for inspiration. Love the theme and the photo with the tree with the sparkly lights. I also really liked the wood grain paper on the left. December '19 Here is a Color inspiration image I made for it as well. Color inspiration for Feb. 2 Lift the peas. Here is my Layout. I was inspired by the shelf like design of the layers of papers and photos setting on the die cut shelf. I also loved the tree in the background and it made me think of these pics of my Kitties from this past December. I think you can see the similarities pretty well. But I added more layers and embellishments. Meowy Christmas - 28-4-28 day 2 scrap lift

Here's mine, I hope it's not gigantic again? I know it's not very similar but I was inspired by the florals under the photos and I've done it in my style. Thanks for the challenge, I finally used the background which I've had hanging around for ages! This page is all about the fact that I will be moving back to New Zealand at some stage so my life there, will be continued! I can't wait to go home again, 20 years in England is more than enough for me. Oh flip, it's bloody gigantic! I will ask my OH how to make it smaller, I know vaguely what I need to do but I need expert help lol! Ok, that's better, I know how to do it now, woo!

Thank you DawnMcDno image again - sorry. I choose to turn the layout into a sketch and adapt for 8.5x11" and borrowed the Christmas theme as well by using a formal picture from DH's company christmas party I used papers from a christmas paper pad (Michaels) - background was white with silver foiling branches and snowflakes and red birds. I matted my 5x7 photo in white and black cardstock, added 'peace', 'joy', 'hope' along the left side (cut-aparts - to mimic the woodgrain paper in the original). Instead of diecuts, I used the red tone on tone plaid from the pad and corner-rounded it. My journalling is below the picture and I used another cut-apart 'We wish you a merry christmas' in the upper right corner.

Here's mine, right side only. I put the left side together awhile ago, so I needed this one to coordinate with it. Two different days, so I think it's okay that the color schemes are a little different. The seashell paper is some of the oldest paper I had, and I'm not sure I like the way it looks, but so what. All my pages can't be masterpieces Mine is a little more photo heavy than the inspiration pieces, but I still have a title toward the top and a journaling strip at the bottom. I couldn't fit much more than that on the page, LOL. Me and 2 good friends from high school hanging out this past summer. We're ancient now! grammadee and DawnMcD, I love both your banners at the bottom of your pages, but for different reasons. grammadee, yours is so elegant. And Dawn, yours is just layer upon layer of goodness - one giant scrap cluster - It's so much fun! woodysbetty, your papers are really! joyful. Just perfect for your story. kiwigirl, I love your style. I wish I could make a layout like that, but white space makes me nervous, hahaha. I always feel like I'm adding too much of the wrong thing. I don't think I'm a very good visual editor. Yet. Thanks for the inspiration! Thanks to all of you for the inspiration

Amazing work, Ladies! And it is not even near noon in my part of the world! Here is my lift. I have put away all my Christmas goodies, but decided to focus on the page design: title above photo, "shelf" below. I flipped the photo in the design right to left, and changed the woodgrain to brick pp. Smile you are beautiful 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

My scraplift. (click to enlarge) Also showing you pic since it is so small on the page. It was taken by dd who lives in the beautiful blue ridge mountains. Any one else remember that song? I just thought about it this morning. I started with the colors, which made it very easy and also the wood background with a rope.

Excellent pages everyone. I like them all - from the way everyone sees the original and then does something just a little bit different. Not a layout, but a 4 x 6 pocket card. All digital, using Carousel by Shabby Princess.

Wow, I am so impressed with all the layouts. We have some very talented scrappers here. My inspiration was the great family photo that grammadee used. It reminded me that I have lots of family photos that need to be scrapped and I hope to do a bunch this month. All Because Two People Fell in Love 2017 by Nylene Budge, on Flickr I have just a few things to do to finish yesterday's challenge and then I'll be back to chat.

I was inspired by the wood paper and how the elements go off the page. To combat the fact that my photo person is facing to the right and I put my photo block on the right, I included an arrow pointing back at the subject. I didn't want to cover the compass on the background paper or I could have placed the photo block on the left. I used some really old things from my stash on this page and punches and scraps. Yeah, I was doing a little happy dance in my studio. Explore by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr **ETA** I'll be back later to give love on all the gorgeous layouts I've missed, but I have play time and don't want to spend a long time on the computer.

Again, I apologize for the quality of the photos. Computer is still down, waiting for a part, no access to editing software. Also, remember the photos shown here are placeholders, I order actual prints after I put together the layout. You will also notice I do not have info on the journaling space, I am waiting to obtain a unibal singo white pen. Not sure if one or both of these fall within the parameters of this challenge, please let me know if I missed the mark, and I will submit these as free style entries.

Wow, everyone's pages are so great. grammadee - Do you get an extra point because your's was the inspirational layout? I think you should, what do you say ladies? DawnMcD - I am a sucker for kitty pages. Your layout is beautiful makes me wish I had gotten Christmas photo of my kittys by the tree. woodysbetty - Your layout is certainly providing me with a lot of JOY, it is gorgeous. Love how you used the color inspiration. kiwigirl - Your layout is so contemporary and on trend. Love the use of the mixed media a various textures. Great take on the inspiration layout grammadee - The color used on your page is striking. Your layout also feels very fresh and contemporary. JaneB - It amazes me how digital looks so dimensional. I know it takes a lot of work to make it look like that, you do wonderful work. nylene - Hi! - I never tire of seeing your layouts. You have such a clean style. I like that the inspiration you received from the original was the family photo. Beautiful page, and a wonderfully special one as well. LisaDV - Hi! - And the other type of layout I am a sucker for (besides kitties) is travel/outdoor layouts. This one is so fun, great clusters and so fun to use up old stash. stinkerbelle - Awesome layout. The fun fresh colors are wonderful and the use of mixed media make this a contemporary and on trend layout. You are a ROCK STAR! patin - your cluster of flowers is wonderful as well as the entire composition. This layout feels so soft and airy to me. anniefb - your colors are beautiful and the use of various fonts is striking. The photos, well you can't go wrong with photos like those. Beautiful. mikklynn - I love that the challenges are inspiring us to use items that have been sitting on the shelf. I think you met this challenge perfectly and you put those paper to great use. Love the ornaments and overall cheery feel of this layout. justjac - Great job, love the grid style photos which read as one unit. The background paper is wonderful. crystalb - super cool (pun intended) page. This is a frosty masterpiece!!!!! @ mamakoala - Love the kit you used. Really makes these Disney pages feel fresh and fun and not the standard Disney color pallet (which not all photos of Disney fit with) Use of the multiple fonts here also makes it feel fresh.

The inspiration layout reminded me of some papers I received in a MME Christmas warehouse box last year or the year before. I didn't know quite how to use them, so yay for the challenge! I finally figured out not to use the add attachment from Flickr. Use the arrow on the lower right to SHARE. Then copy the BB code (I use small) and just paste it into the reply.
