The only way that ending could have been better was for Chris Long to have sacked Tom Brady on the last play.

The only way that ending could have been better was for Chris Long to have sacked Tom Brady on the last play. Nah. It was just the right amount. Between the previous sack (the Brady sandwich) the fumble and recovery, and all those passes to no one he threw, it was enough. I was almost starting to feel sorry for him...almost. He is still a great QB, as much as I hate to admit it. Erin

Still would have liked his previous teammate to sack him on the last play especially since it was Graham who strip sacked him earlier.

Eagles fans are boorish thugs, the Patriot players are cheaters (plus their management are Trump friends), and the NFL as a whole is corrupt as hell, so yeah, the only good thing about this year's Super Bowl is that they all had to freeze their asses off in the Minnesota winter. Agree with you overall. In the end, though, my love of the USWNT's Julie Ertz was enough for me actively hope for the Eagles to win. Normally I don't actually care, as long as the Patriots, who I hate, lose.

That was one of the best Super Bowl games I've ever watched. I'm thrilled the Eagles won and that both the defense and offense made huge contributions to the win. We were holding our breath for the last couple of minutes. My favorite plays were when the QBs became receivers. Loved that Noles scored a touchdown and Brady missed his catch.

Watching Super Bowl stuff on tv today and I just became a huge fan of Chris Long!!! He donated his entire salary this last year to charity! He's been profiled a couple of times on CBS (maybe 60 Minutes?) recently. I didn't realize until well into the story Howie Long was his dad. I'm impressed by the whole family.

I actually went to bed rather than watch because my husband gets so upset it's painful. He was born and raised in Philadelphia in the city and he says the Eagles 'rip his heart out.' At one point I know I heard him crying. Then I heard him singing 'Fly Eagles Fly' so I got up and then it was just happiness. He was crazy texting my son who went to a Super Bowl party somewhere.
It is a very good feeling to finally grab that ring, and Nick Foles with his baby girl was precious.

Pats! Pats! Pats! My husband grew up in the shadow of Foxboro Stadium. They had season tickets and sat on metal bleacher seats winter after winter rooting for their losing team. When everyone hates on the Pats for winning all the time they don't recognize the history of when they lost all the time. The only upside, in my house, for the Pats losing is that my husband cleans the whole house after the game, trying to come down from the intensity of the Super Bowl. So, I do hope they win, but if they lose, I have some laundry that can be put through. Most people don't "hate on the Pats for winning all the time." I hate the Pats. What I really hate is the Pats fandom (notice I didn't say fans... both my children and my sweetheart are Pats fans.) The thing that turns my stomach is the vast majority of fans know nothing about the pre Brady/Belicheck era and were fans of other teams, and Pats "cause they are the home team. Of course I like the Cowboys better!" The pink hatters drive me bat crap crazy. Can't name but two Pats players.. Well.. I'll give them three (apparently Edleman is good looking enough they remember his name now.) Anyway- glad they lost. The only saving grace was getting to watch James Harrison. -Signed Steelers fan who grew up with a terrible towel for a spit rag living in Mass.

Let's goooooooooooooo PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eagles fans are the worst and make it so easy to hate the Eagles. Plus...that whole E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles cheer? It is cute that the Eagles fans want every one to realize that they know how to spell. It's really quite funny. Many teams do it...J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS....LOL.. I HATE the smugness of 99% of the Patriot fans I know. It's easy to root for a winner...not so easy to root for a loser Signed A Buffalo Bills fan YES! You said it better than I did. UGH.

I do have a ton of respect for Nick Foles and Zach Ertz. How cute are Zach and his wife Julie? Omygosh! And their little girl!

We are a Cowboys household and will be rooting hard for the Eagles to BEAT THE LIVING CRAP out of the Patriots You are not a true Cowboys household if you are rooting for the Eagles regardless of who they are playing. I could not agree with this more !!! Dallas Cowboys fans H. A. T. E. the Eagles.

I don't care one whit for football, but out of tradition, we always get together with 2 other families and watch.
As someone who couldn't give a flip about it, that was one hell of a game! I screamed and jumped and fist pumped with the rest of them!

We are a Cowboys household and will be rooting hard for the Eagles to BEAT THE LIVING CRAP out of the Patriots. If Brady isn't limping off the field, you aren't hitting hard enough! That's a really rotten thing to say. Did they hit hard enough to knock Cooks out of the game?

That's a really rotten thing to say. Did they hit hard enough to knock Cooks out of the game? Good gravy, I was joking. I would never wish someone to get so hurt they couldn't play anymore. And for the people who keep saying "oh, you're not a real Cowboys fan because you cheered for the Eagles", please go ahead and bite me. I don't need to hate every other team just because I cheer for a certain team the rest of the season and have cheered for this same team my entire life. It's called being a fan of the sport as well.
