I got my DH a solo trip to LA in January. I am now done with all presents for at least a year.  Does your guy have a hobby or special interest? For example, my husband is always happy with music or guitar strings. |

This was a few years ago, but the items would still be relevant if your man is athletic at all. I gave him a heart monitor watch and strap to use when exercising. Another year I gave him a blood pressure cuff. I know that sounds totally lame, but he was having blood pressure issues and he was really into writing down the statistics during various times of the day. He kept these involved charts that he took to his doctor's appointments with him. He really loved it. Another time I gave him a weekend in Yosemite, a place he loved as if it was his own backyard. He had never been snowshoeing and I signed him up for a trek with the ranger that was really interesting.
Basically, I just tried to think of things heart-related in the broadest of senses. Or things that he loved like a batch of oatmeal cookies and tickets to his favorite comedian. My son loved snowboarding, so he received a season's pass for his favorite snowboarding area. His girlfriend really loved Disneyland, so she received two one-year passes for she and my son to go as often as they wanted to.

If you want something in addition to Mystie's fabulous idea, how about tickets to a sporting event for the two of you? Or theater or music, whatever floats his boat. Main goal being spending time together doing something he enjoys. |

He did tell me once if I show up to bed in a Little House on the Prairie nightgown he is out of here, but really prefers clothed to naked over bothering with lingerie. I have no interest in wearing it either, so we are good.  . |

If you want to give something other than yourself, I always like making my OH hampers of bits that I know he likes.
