Great! Job! I have been doing IF since September. I have lost 4 lbs. 4 times. I have had two major changes in medication that have complicated my weight loss. It frustrating. I'm going to try going full Keto for March to see if I can actually jumpstart some movement. I understand your frustration. I have had to go off my bipolar meds***, turn down a med for fibro pain, and some medications for diabetes that they indicated could cause weight gain in order to be able to lose weight. Even the bipolar meds that didn't specifically make me gain (and they were few and far between), made it almost impossible to lose no matter what tactic I tried for years and years. Fortunately my strict dietary changes are keeping my blood glucose levels at a good level. But, my weight is a serious health concern right now so I'm basically just suffering through it. ***just stating that it was not willy nilly and am trying a different kind of counseling because I know that would concern me if I read it*** SabrinaP That's a huge accomplishment congratulations! And I love the black/white and hot pink color combo in your before photo. eta: Coming back to add that something really struck me when I was looking at your before/after shots. In most I feel you can see the difference in how they feel about themselves based on their posture and face, often in clothing, which *is* wonderful. But in yours? Same great smile/attitude shining through and I find that admirable. Motivates me to find it in myself even though I'm not where I want to be.

You look GREAT! I was SO SO SO good last year. I've been struggling this year. I have 20 lbs to go to get to my healthy weight and 30 to goal. I can't do it. I ate 12 cookies today. I have to write it because I am seriously ashamed. I was good for NINE months. Now I'm just tired of it all. Please, please don't be ashamed! Disappointed in lack of will power? Ok. But it's not an action that deserves shame. Try and eat healthy for dinner tonight and call it good. And you can do it, you know it because you did it for nine months! You "just" have to find your motivation again, maybe from a different place this time. I wish I could help with that because I an feel the emotion pouring out of your post!

So glad to see the updates on everyone, great going! I'm another who has been successful at wl this past year. WW combined with intermittent fasting, I'm almost at my goal weight. I feel fantastic, I plan on IF for the rest of my life. Fasting is easy for me now and a total way of life. I 16:8 daily, and 24 hour fast (dinner to dinner) on Mondays and Thursdays. I love the feeling of clarity I have while fasting. I cut out all artificial sweeteners and try to stay pretty clean whole foods wise for the most part. I spent the weekend in Scottsdale with my bff. We ate at fabulous restaurants and I shopped my heart out. It was a dream weekend, a reward to myself for hitting all my goals this past year. Came home Sunday night and Monday I was back to my 24 hour fasting with no problem. If anyone wants more info or more personal details pmail me and I'll be glad to share. Intermittent fasting is the way to go. Seriously, life changing for me.

I've lost 12 lb since January 1st. I'd like to get to my goal by May, and my reward is buying new water skis for the lake! I told a friend of mine that if you see me with new water skis, you can congratulate me, but if I don't have them then don't ask because I'll be crabby!! :-) I do have a question if y'all wouldn't mind answering one... How do you handle eating during the week of your period? Usually the two days before my period starts, I'm like a bottomless pit and craving food all day long. If I give in and just eat, I usually am up a pound or two, and then it takes another week to get that back off again. Any tips or tricks for keeping on track during that time? Thanks! I would love some advice about this as well. My hormones are so messed up I can bleed for literally months at a time and those cravings would rarely go away for me. Even when I was not on my cycle. I call it "gnaw my arm off hunger pains" and it is actually physically painful. Also, my endocrinologist said that some hormones related to diabetes can cause feeling this as well. I have noticed that as I got my blood sugar under control the feeling is often less severe even if it never goes away completely. I have found that eating very low carb (and practically zero processed carbs) helps to not add to the hunger. For example an all protein breakfast will leave me less hungry than one with even just a few strawberries. Hopefully someone else can weigh in (haha) with suggestions.

Itty bitty picture but I haven’t figured out our new photo hosting deal yet so I had to include it as an attachment . The first photo is of me about 18 months ago. I was already down 20 lbs. there from my heaviest weight. The other is of me this morning. About 65 lbs. total lost between both pics.

Congratulations to everyone on their weight loss and those working at losing!! It’s not easy and we need to celebrate even our smallest successes I’m down 20 something pounds since my first round of Whole30 in September. I lost 9.5 lbs during that round. I didn’t eat Whole30 over the holidays, but I did continue to lose weight. I started another Whole30 in January but didn’t complete it as I’m now really into just eating that way the majority of the time. I find I cook 99% Whole30 compliant, but don’t mind just eating well/ok when I eat out. I also joined a Crossfit gym November 1st and workout 3 times a week on average. My usual days are M-W-F but today I took the 4:30 class as a bonus day. We also started a Team Walking Challenge at work Friday. My usual step goal is 6000 steps and on my work from home days I really struggle to get those in. I bumped my goal up to 10,000 and I’ve made my goal each day. Even yesterday, my work from home day!! So far I’ve walked 25 miles between Friday and yesterday!! I purged my closet two weeks ago and was able to get rid of all my XXL clothes as I’m now in a L. Today the owner of our gym saw me and was really happy/proud of my progress. I haven’t seen him since October and I was still in the oversized gym clothes phase. I’m now wearing less baggy gym clothes and starting to feel good, not self conscious of them ‘touching’ me
