Another great list of choices, Chinagirl828! Sadly, I need to file them away for the next time I can play. Up to my knees (literally almost) in housecleaning right now.

Here's mine. I scrapped someone I love (Oh is holding the cat), a special paper I've been keeping for ages because I LOVE it (Altenew Reflections kit) and that got me digging out some old BG tags & things I was also hoarding for special. Stripes, puffy stickers and some hoarded number rub-ons I've been keeping forever! stinkerbelle I love the whole LO, everything is awesome! Great work hun!

Wonderful Valentines' LO's, Ladies! stinkerbelle, that little one is adorable in her Valentines pj's! I love all the little hearts, the large heart doily, and that sweet little medallion(?) piece made with soft pink materials. Your page showcases the darling photos perfectly! kiwigirl, you always amaze me with your use of colour! That bright watercolour is eyecatching, yet you never lose sight of the photo. Love how you have backed it up with all those layers and called attention to it with the arrow and other elements. Also love your use of black here: the matting, the stripey border, and the stitching.

Special paper, date, stripes. This paper is special because I heard about it here, (thanks enablers) went to M's and even though it was not my style, had multiple pages alike, was 12x12, when I mostly scrap 11x8, I bought it....telling myself I would use every page. I am still trying to keep my promise to myself. It was a pad of 48 pages called The Lazy Scrapbooker and I have 12 pages left. I have mostly changed them to fit 8x11. I am really sick of it. I do like the scrabble letters. When we 1st got married I used to try to make him play with me. He never would, except when friends came over to play with us. I am also committed to scrapping these photos of our 50th anniversary for each of our grandchildren. I've done most of them, I think. Really enjoying seeing all your very nice layouts, learning more about y'all and getting up to find my assignment for the day. It's definitely a change in process.

Here's mine. It's not a Valentine, but it's someone I love, on a paper I've been saving for the perfect project, with stripes (on the orange paper), chipboard, stamps, and fussy cutting (instead of punches.) What's funny is that I cut that paper down awhile ago and set it aside with the photos, and I used the scraps before I used the bigger block of paper. Chinagirl828, what a beautiful photo to capture the moment. I love the way you dressed the page with the black ribbon and the glittery dots. stinkerbelle, oh that smile! kiwigirl, another stunning page - all that color against the black and white. @elaynef, it's beautiful. I love that you included the wedding photos along with the anniversary photo. mamakoala, sweet and simple, and a great way to use up scraps! I like the sunshine in your title. Thanks for the challenge Chinagirl828 - I like being pushed a little. I got out my inks and acrylics for this one

mamakoala , what a cute photo and a sweet page! I love the punched circles cascading down the page. Just spent all day cleaning my craft room, and have a huge pile of scraps. Might have to pull out my circle punches and get to work. And your page is so vibrant, msliz . I love all the florals. What exactly is Pangy Day?

What exactly is Pangy Day? It's the shortened version of Pangynaskeia, which is a word someone made up in the 1800's for use by Mount Holyoke College ( a women's college.) It was proposed and rejected ( imagine that! ) as a potential name for the school. In the 1970's, students made up a school holiday, and gave it the name. A blurb I found says it's "a word loosely defined as 'cultivating the total world of women - physical, intellectual, and moral.'" There's sunshine, a May pole, and ice cream.

I have been gone most of the day, but have had my thinking cap on. I have saved this piece of cardboard tucked between my shelves in case I might sometime want to peel it back to expose the corrugations. So I am calling it specialty and hoarded paper, used orange, yellow and green polka dots, punched the edge of the dark green, hearts are puffy stickers and the word Silly is an ancient rub on and I'm surprised it worked! I absolutely love these two little guys! This Side Up by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Chinagirl828, your layout couldn't be more perfect for Valentine's day. I love that great big photo. Such cute sweethearts! stinkerbelle, those photos are just delightful. I love the doily in the background and the cute little banner. Such a wonderful Valentine layout. kiwigirl, I love the bright pink splashed background with your black and white stripes. Such a dramatic color scheme for those you love (I'm counting the cat too.) You did a wonderful job on this. @elaynef, I love your 50 years layout. I need to do that too. We were too poor for wedding photos, but have some of later that day. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm going to have to do some digging. Congrats on 50 years and a beautiful layout to prove it. mamakoala, I love this page. Your cascading circles from corner to corner are very classy. I had the same thought that he looks like your avatar. Great page. msliz, thanks for the info on Pangy day. We used to do Maypoles like in your photo when we were in Elem. school. Love your photos and your bright floral papers. I have 2 more photos of my grandsons in the box, so may use the left over papers to make a 2nd page for WW2. Great job on all the layouts for this challenge and thanks for the challenge, Chinagirl828!

kiwigirl that vivid pink is so awesome and I love it with the wide black and white stripy border. I'm so glad it got you pulling out other special things, you've made a pretty fabulous page. @elaynef I love that even the scrabble tiles have meaning on this page. I've loved seeing your pages made with this pad, the florals are beautiful with that green stripe. And congratulations on 50 years! mamakoala I love the mix of stitching and scattered shapes, and the colour combo is beautiful. msliz I love how the floral picks up the colours in the May pole. It sounds like a fun tradition, I'm in for anything involving sunshine and ice cream!

After a flurry of hunting for things I couldn't find and finding things I had forgotten I owned, here is my 2-pager for this challenge: What happy looks like by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Someone I love is the dgd in the photos, and her older sister who took these pic's. I love that these two seem to have a special bond, even beyond that the 15 year old loves to take photos and the 7 year old never saw a camera she didn't want to pose for. Specialty paper is the mesh. I found it in a drawer of VIP's (very important papers = too pretty to use) while I was looking for some printed vellum that seems to have escaped. Even the photos kind of fit in the "special" category. I have had them since October, but could not figure out how to showcase them properly until now. The dots are on the pp. Used a heart punch I had lying on my counter after the last project. But I ended up heat embossing, too, when my original plan to use the Minc on the stamped butterflies did not turn out the way I had hoped. No chipboard. I substituted some of the diecuts from the paper pack. I had planned to pop them up, but then just glued them flat. Took me awhile to locate these SU! stamps I have had for years. This was quite a scrappy workout, but I love the pages that resulted. Thanks, Chinagirl828 for the challenge!
