Thanks for another fun challenge! Very pretty page, crystalb. Interesting story. Pretty colours. I love how all the elements are stretched across the centre of the page with those tiny clusters in opposite corners.

Gorgeous LO crystalb, I love everything about it! Beautiful colours and layers, the clusters of embellishments are perfect too. You've made me think of my old Dear Lizzy collections (Neapolitan and Fifth & Frolic) so I might pull those out for this challenge!

I dug out the old Dear Lizzy! I outlined 1/2 the page with a black pen, there's sparkle in a gemstone brad and also the Nuvo Dots I used are the black glitter ones, there's black & white stripe washi tape, a journal card under the title (I don't journal much cause I'm usually scrapping the same photos over and over!) and my 'free item' is brads. There is a banner on there but it's not hand cut, it's 5th & Frolic. I was gonna try and cheat and get away with that but, I didn't think I could carry that one off Lol! Oh, I did chuck a doily under the photo as well. So because I'd pulled the box of Dear Lizzy off the shelf, there was a gap. And we lost the cat. We wandered around the house for ages looking for him, only to find him stuffed into the empty space hahaha!

Ha ha! And now you have another kitty photo to scrap! He looks quite at home in that cozy cubby. another winner, kiwigirl! I love your page, and I see again those torn, rolled edges. I love your style & your use of bright colours, but also love that you used mists to tone down the bg behind the photo cluster.

crystalb , thank you for this challenge and the fun things from which to choose our five. I love your layout and the three photos all centered on the banner. Pretty dainty colors. Beautiful job. kiwigirl , I love the pink and black and white. Your curled edges are so cool and I love the tearing. The use of the brads is wonderful. I need to use mine instead of hoarding them. Love the story about your kitty! So cute. Here is my #15. Photos of the DGC next to the Pixar Icons in the Courtyard. Take A Walk At Pixar by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

I have the pieces laid out for this. Need to let a couple of them dry, glue it all together and then finish the journaling. Hope to get to that in the morning.

Didn't have success using elements today. I started with a layout that I already had a sketch picked out for and thought I could add on some of them after completing the basics, but I failed. The small pictures are punched but either didn't have the other elements or couldn't make anything I had work. This is probably the last challenge I am going to be able to do for a while. I have a sick dd and have to go out of town to be with her tomorrow. I will be watching all your entries.

I was scrambling for some of these elements, too. If I weren't working with hockey pix, I could use a doily, but I think I have it set up for tomorrow.
I counted your points, @elaynef. Love that photo and the colour combo.
Hope your dd recovers quickly. Safe travels.

Will miss seeing your pages every day I love the huge photo on the left page, and that you used different patterned backgrounds (it always looks dumb when I try)!

kiwigirl I like how you used many brads across the bottom - genius! nylene I love that you take the same photo every year. What fun memories. Your layout captures the fun. @elaynef The star is the awesome smile in the large photo! I think one of the hardest parts of scrapbooking is knowing when to stop. I think your layout is great as is. I hope your DD is better quickly. stinkerbelle Fabulous title. I love her sparkly attitude. The colorful ink drops look great. grammadee Fun hockey page. I do a lot of hockey pages for DGS, so I always enjoy seeing yours.

nylene I LOVE your LO! The title looks fab and the whole page balances so well, it looks great! @elaynef great LO, that feature photo is wonderful! I was struggling to get elements on as well and then I realised I had more than I thought lol! stinkerbelle I love your LO! Love that band at the bottom, the splatters and the title is great. I totally get you about being talked at when you're trying to journal, it's too hard, I never journalled at crops cause I would start writing what people around me were saying. So frustrating! Wow grammadee, so much to look at on this one, it's awesome! I love the tag and the heart on the banner too.

Gorgeous creations everyone. Thank you for playing along! I hope you are still chugging along with the 28-4-28 as there are lots of great challenges. I ma way behind with the youngest being home the last 4 days sick. Now he has shared and I feel horrid. We made it this far into winter without being sick so I should be grateful. I can always catch up when we are all well. This silly weather (it snowed/sleeted yesterday and will be in the 70s tomorrow/rest of week) isn't helping either!
