Happy Friday! We are over half way through the month and you all have been posting so many layout and leaving praise! Great job! I will post inspiration from a Pea every week for you to be inspired by. You can be inspired by the general layout, the theme, the colors, whatever makes you happy! Just create something NEW for each challenge and share that you did it and either a picture or a description of what you did so we can all be inspired! This can be a layout, a card, digital, whatever you are inspired to make. This weeks pea is stinkerbelle When I saw her post this layout for the This or That challenge I knew it as the one for this week! It is so fun, adorable photos and great Valentine/love color scheme. Perfect for this weeks challenge. And I pretty much straight up copied it! I made it a 12X12 and scrapped photos of my daughter.

Super cute lift and I love that you copied the two patterns on the bottom layer - that was one of the details I love about Stinkerbelle's layout.

Here is my lift. best friend by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I used some of the same Pebbles papers as stinkerbelle 's. Also decided to lift mikklynn's happy accident of using a cut down sheet of pp as a thin border behind a second cs layer.

Ok, here's mine. I definitely copied the two pattern border and then sewed it and added black Nuvo dots. I did add a doily but I didn't have a heart one, and I'm not much of a multi photo scrapper. But I used that little man banner like the one on stinkerbelle 's and DawnMcD 's. Oh grammadee that heart doily is awesome and I love your double border!

I was really happy with how it looks.

stinkerbelle , I'm glad your layout was chosen to lift today. It's a favorite of mine. Such adorable photos. DawnMcD , Thank you for the challenge. Your layout is delightful. I love the facial expressions and the fact that the photos take center stage. Very pretty. grammadee , I love the corner patterned papers. Very cute technique. I love that big red heart that perfectly matches the foliage in your photos. I love the title. I can't tell if it is metal or something like Nuvo drops. It is great. kiwigirl , you have to be the expert with Nuvo drops. How do you make them so perfect and even? I love your double border and your paint and spattered background. Pretty kitty. This is my nephew and his bride. He asked my brother to marry them, and as much as he was afraid to do it, he got an Idaho license and did a great job. Sweet day for everyone. I had to photo this because my scanner refused to scan the acetate overlay. (of course, what was I thinking?) For 28-4-28 Day 15, Scraplift the Peas. by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Here's mine, though I'm not really satisfied with it yet. I want to add more stuff. More apples, music notes, just more stuff, and some journaling. But I'm happy enough with the start of it. DawnMcD and stinkerbelle, your inspiration layouts both have such beautiful texture - that's another something that I want to add onto mine. I'm learning so much from my fellow Peas this month! grammadee and kiwigirl, the textures in your layouts are amazing too nylene, with yours I'm struck by the pink and the gold - just beautiful together, and so fitting for wedding photos. Thanks so much DawnMcD. I'm having a blast - bring on the next challenge!

msliz, great lift with the switch out of the apple for the heart. I have had that happen too, where I think a page needs "something". After a day or two an Aha! will hit me, and it all comes together. I am sure you will find just exactly what you think the page needs.

kiwigirl , you have to be the expert with Nuvo drops. How do you make them so perfect and even? I love your double border and your paint and spattered background. Pretty kitty. Well, I'm not that expert...... the paint splatters are on the paper. While I was dotting my border, I got distracted by something outside and dripped black dots all over the place lol! So there's some extra splatters that are Nuvos hehehe! nylene great photos and I love your spotty paper, the acetate at the bottom is so pretty too. Lush LO! msliz gorgeous LO, I love the apple and your banner is so cool, it all looks great!

DawnMcD thanks again for choosing my layout this week I love all the cute little touches on your page, like the unicorn peeking out and the teensy little smart phone. Great layout!! grammadee what a perfect color scheme for those adorable photos! I love the photo placement and awesome script title and how you used some of the same papers in the original. Gorgeous LO! kiwigirl so pretty! I love the double border of stitching and nuvo drops, and how you incorporated the banner into your title I have to ask…what kind of kitty do you have? Obviously Siamese, but he looks curly and that tail is not standard issue Siamese nylene your page is beautiful! I love the overlay with that pink background, just gorgeous! I really like how you used larger photos and changed up the doilies! msliz your apple in place of the doily is so cute! I also love the mitered-corner look and bright color scheme

stinkerbelle I love the hearts. I would not have thought to use a strip-type paper for them - great job. I love your DD's smile and outfit. You need the Fashionista line for scrapping that girl

mikklynn thanks for your sweet comments the hearts are actually made of strips of washi, of which i have tons but never use. her outfit is awesome, i agree! i'll have to reprint the photos and do another page on that subject

That lift of your own page is delightful, stinkerbelle! Super cute photos, and I love the colours you chose. I was looking at those stripey hearts, too, and wondering how you got that look. Perfect use of washi.

Funny story: I printed these pictures to use for the Take 5 II challenge & then put the wonderful page that stinkerbelle had done up on my computer to scraplift, so this turned into my Lift the Peas Challenge. Happy accident! I like how it turned out. Thank you Chinagirl828 for teaching me how to do the journaling. I really like your method & I will use it a lot. 28-4-28 by Pati Nuce, on Flickr
