Another interesting collection of items to use!
Sadly I won't be playing with paper for a few days, but I can see myself coming back to this later.

I love this challenge christinec68 ! Your LO is fab, I love the colours, so bright and fun! Thos birds are super cute too I went diagonal this time, washi, matted photo and bling. I went to old-ish BG again, Highline this time. I love this collection so much, I wish I'd bought more. I'm nearly out of embellishments and I want more!!!! I can't believe I've done 19 days of LO's, I'm sure I'm getting quicker too!

decided to skip up a bit while I catch up...(starting to think I may be a lost cause!!) Anyway here's my take...I used washi, ink but since I'm not really a gingham or check person I substituted herringbone and a more random background pattern. Thanks for the challenge christinec68 - Tic-Tac_Toe is definitely stretching my comfort zone!! LOL!

I just finished a page for this Challenge! I made another puppy page of my DD's new golden doodle puppy (now 2 yrs old!). I matted my two photos, inked the edges of paper and photo mats and used a puppy embellishment! Very fun challenge!

I did a two-page layout for this challenge and both pages meet the lower row (gingham, red, bling) individually
page 1 - white background, holly leaf print paper as a border on the left with a smaller strip of RED GINGHAM tucked under its right side. 3 photos mounted vertically on green cardstock (like a filmstrip) and tucked at an angle slightly under the border. A strip of RED GINGHAM is also angled under the photos. 2 Jolees (or similar) stickers (RED santas) mounted on green cardstock are on the border along with "27th" in black Doodlebug letters also mounted on green. I added bling to the package on one of the stickers.
page 2 - holly leaf print paper as background, RED GINGHAM forms a wide border on the bottom. 4 photos are block matted with green cardstock, slightly overlapping the gingham, computer journalling (lobster 2 font) on white cardstock is on the border and there's a Jolees glittery tree sticker as well which I added bling to (as a 'star')
photos are of Christmas present unwrapping - one of the parcels my mum sent didn't arrive until the 27th

I went diagonally with gingham (because my tablecloth has a gingham check), matted photo, and border sticker. Almost done with 2017! christinec68 , I like how you put your border strip though the center portion of your layout. I always feel like I have to use a border to help "frame" the design, but I want to try using it the way you have it. It looks great! kiwigirl , I like the torn and curled edges - I know it's a technique that's been around for awhile, but you make it look really fresh and new. woodysbetty , those papers are fantastic! nylene , your background papers are so sunny and sweet and springy nancydrew , you can't go wrong with puppy pictures - I'm sure it's a great page! stinkerbelle , ack! Too funny! Linda, I love red gingham for Christmas! Thanks christinec68 for another great challenge, and thanks to everyone for inspiring me. I learn so much from all of you

This page fits in this challenge, I think. Left bottom to top right diagonal. 72 wishes by Gramma Dee, on Flickr *Gingham pattern is actually on the table cloth in the photos. *Photos are matted. *I used a KC border sticker. I also have some wood veneer and did some inking, but those are off the line. Second page today. Feeling REALLY good to be back with my paper and glue!

I used the middle row for inspiration: inking(the crane element), matted photo (3), animal element- well, there are the photos & also the cute little Cricut Safari fellow with the alligator. This is a traditional layout. The paper is from fabscraps 28-4-28 by Pati Nuce, on Flickr
