I'm bringing you a This or That challenge each week. Simply choose one item from each pair to use on your page or project. Don't have either of the options in your stash? Substitutions are welcome! Prefer to scrap in a simpler style? Choose a smaller number of pairs from the below list to make your project. Ready to get your scrap on? Your page should include: - one photo or three photos
- nice and inky or nice and clean
- floral or geometrics
- something really old or something really new
- ribbon or washi
- brads or flair
I used the following on my page: one photo or three photos nice and inky or nice and clean floral or geometricssomething really old or something really new ribbon or washi brads or flair

Awesome LO woodysbetty I love that big Heidi Swapp adventure word, I've used it loads of times too! And your cluster of embellishments is fab! stinkerbelle I love your LO, the papers are fab, it all looks great! I got really stuck on my LO and it's still sitting on my desk. But you'll never guess what I pulled out to use.... a Bejeweller!!! I remembered how to use it and everything lol! I will hopefully finish mine off tomorrow.

Chinagirl828 , thank you for another great challenge. I love looking at your layouts. I always feel like I am seeing the world in your photos. I love the places you travel. The hexagons are fabulous. Beautiful page. woodysbetty , I love the colors in your layout. The use of the thin strip banners that divide your photo from your section of embellishments is great. I need to remember that when I have just one photo. It is such a beautiful design. stinkerbelle , I love the die cut geometric overlay. The papers used to fill them and your journaling are perfect. That's kind of like the snow we have had this winter until this week when it dumped on us. I love, love, love your layout and want to scraplift it. Thanks, everyone, for sharing your work. Mine is a one photo layout of my DGD and her (then) Fiance at Halloween. I used one photo, very inky edges, geometric, an old map I downloaded years ago for a Cub Scout activity, and a brad. I took Chinagirl828 at her suggestion, that for a simpler layout choose fewer pairs. I couldn't find a way to make ribbon or the colors of washi I own to add anything helpful to the page but I added glittery bling to the stars. Second Star to the Right by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Here's mine. I used one photo, nice and inky, geometrics, something really old, that background with the mists and splattered paint is super old and also, I pulled out the Bejeweller because I thought the last option was bling or flair and I went for bling. Then I realised I got it wrong! Washi and flair. nylene fab LO! I love the background map, it's perfect for your photo and I LOVE those stars!

I had so much fun doing this layout. When I saw the nice and inky choice I decided to try out this Mixed Media style. I have been watching videos by Marilyn Rivera on you tube and just adore her style. Check out her videos- www.youtube.com/channel/UCM7ejd9kjWaMtishAQXefUwThis is the list I used. * one photo * nice and inky * floral * something really old - so many really old things on this page. * washi * brads - tiny floral brads are in the center of the large flowers.

Back to a traditional layout for me for this challenge. I chose 3 photos, clean, floral, really old ( I took a Cricut class at a Scrapbook Expo 3/4 years ago & never finished the project + these photos are from 2010) , ribbon- welllllll...a bit of a stretch, the vine is ink drawing on the Cricut & quite honestly I am not sure what constitutes flair, but I made these flowers & used bling for the centers (but the bling is not on a brad.) Hope that counts. 28-4-28 by Pati Nuce, on Flickr

woodysbetty I love the sketchy woodgrain alpha and the colour scheme is beautiful, especially the inky splatters. stinkerbelle Love the shimmery cardstock background and how the polaroid frame works against the lighter background colours. Simply lovely! kiwigirl I could instantly tell this was your page. Love the super inky background and the pops of yellow look great. I'm glad the challenge had you pulling out older supplies even if they weren't in the list. I've left praise for everyone else in the gallery.

An old sheet of MAMBI April paper (pink with flowers/butterflies/April) as my background. one photo matted in white with pink vellum offset underneath, handcut pink cardstock banner under the photo with layered flowers (pink with white on top and a yellow button in the centre). Easter dinner in black/white mini circle Doodlebug alphas to the right below the photo.

Here's mine. It's a little plain, but the paper is really reflective, and there was a lot going on with it already. My This and That is on the left side, and maybe grammadee can give me a freestyle point for the right side? 3 photos, nice and clean, floral, really old (the SEI paper is 2012), washi, and brads. Sorry I had to cover her funny faces and her name. Chinagirl828, I love your challenges, and the way you design your layouts. It's a gorgeous photo, and I like the way you pulled the blues and greens from it. woodysbetty, that cluster in the center of your page is really great - there's so much going on, but it doesn't overwhelm your photo at all. I need to learn how to do that. @sinkerbelle, love the circles and the journaling. nylene, so cute! Cute couple too. kiwigirl, unbelievably cool - I love everything! DawnMcD, I'm going to have to lift this one - I'm loving the dyes and the stamping under your florals. patin, I love your ink vine especially because it echos the one in the invitation, so it ties it all together. Thanks everyone for the fun and for the inspiration!

nylene your page is fantastic! I love all the little touches—the map background, tink on the photo mat, blingy stars, wavy border kiwigirl gorgeous as always! I think you should get double points for using a bejeweller! Love the stitching and little taxi, so cute! DawnMcD your page is stunning!! I love the hearts peeking thru the torn bits and all the dimension! Thanks for the youtube link patin what a lovely wedding page! All your flowers are gorgeous! Linda your colors and elementes (flowers, butterflies) sound perfect for an Easter page! msliz I think with a beautiful girl and fancy paper you don’t really need much else! Lovely spread!
