Welcome to the last color challenge! Our last challenge is an easy one. Welcome to Fabulous Favorite! If someone came up to you on the street and asked, “What’s your absolute favorite color?” what would you say? Do a page featuring that color. Unlike the previous challenges, you’re not limited to just that color. Add in others, just feature your favorite. My favorite color is purple. It’s a harder color to find supplies though and definitely not my favorite color to scrap with at all. I found a picture of my daughter wearing a purple penguin shirt and set about finding supplies...and nothing worked. Everything I found was a redder purple and she was definitely wearing a blue leaning purple. Instead of continuing to search, I changed photos. That was certainly easier than finding blue purples in my limited purple stash! Since it is my favorite color, my daughter wore quite a bit of purple as a baby. This lead to the rediscovery of the album I put all her portraits proofs. Tons to scrap now!  Happy scrapping, everyone! I can’t wait to see what you create! |

My favourite colour is turquoise. I went to my craft room and looked for some turquoise papers but I was struggling. I actually love to scrap with all bright colours, like the border on my LO, I love that paper. So I decided I would just scrap some of my favourite papers instead. There's a lot of Basic Grey there, Blush & Highline are my favourites. I had fun digging through things for favourites. I may embellish this further and probably add some Nuvo Drops..... cause well, it's me hahaha! But it's getting late here and it's getting dark and I wanted to get the LO up on the day of the challenge. I will add another pic if I change it tomorrow. I've named all the papers around the edge in white pen. lilacgal Fab LO! I love how pretty it is, the lace & doily and I almost added some Kioshi paper to my LO too!   |

kiwigirl, your layout is gorgeous! Basic Grey is my hands down favorite company. I love seeing how your highlighted it on your layout. What did you use as your background paper. It’s so pretty!

lilacgal I love your use of the soft purples and the doily adds just the right amount of feminine softness...so pretty!! kiwigirl I love the bright, graphic feel and what a great way to highlight paper favs!! I love basic grey too!! Awesome! Here is my take...although I love most colors, green is my favorite and it seems to creep in on most layouts in some form...even when I'm upside down!! LOL!

Sooooo..... are you buying all the pink stuff so that a) they will keep making it, or b) they quit making it and you will need to scrap from your stockpile? Love this page! Using the ink pads to create that faux matting behind the photo is cool. Also love your use of black on this page. |

lilacgal , with that username of course you would love purple. I love purple too, but have a hard time finding matching papers. Your layout is gorgeous. I love the soft colors and the pretty doily. That photo is the first thing to catch my eye and she is just adorable. kiwigirl , I love the bright colors and elements in your layout. Your layouts are always so fun and interesting. I can pick them out and know they are yours. Love, love, love your style! woodysbetty , I am so impressed that you can even do that! I love the photo and love your shaped and layered background. The word strips down the side are perfect. Fabulous job. thracian , so you are the reason for all the pink in collections. That's fine with me because I really like pink. I especially love your pink inking on this layout. It is so beautifully done. I wish I were braver with inking and spatters. Love your pink and black embellishments. My favorite color is blue, and it seems that most of my layouts are done with blue. This is no exception. This is my sister with all her grandchildren on a vacation in San Diego. lilacgal thank you for a fabulous challenge! I’ve enjoyed playing along this month and appreciate the hard work you put into coming up with all the fun challenges for us. Your purple page is gorgeous! I love that large pattern in the background and all the sweet details like the doily and ribbon. Your story is precious, as is that sweet photo  kiwigirl I love the idea behind this page…sadly, I have so much paper I love, I’d have to do a minibook or two if I wanted to steal your idea woodysbetty just looking at you upside down makes my head hurt but I really love how you’ve used that shaped paper and all the fun words along the side! thracian I’m right there with you girl, long live pink! I think this is my favorite of the pages you’ve posted this month….simply stunning!! nylene you picked a perfect photo to scrap with blue  I really love all the clean lines combined with the pretty scripty font of your title and the pops of red!

stinkerbelle, this layout is so pretty. I love that design. I love the half circle and the dividing strips between the 2 sections. Your little banners, flair and labels are so classy. I had to draw this design to tweak and use for a 8.5x11 page. Love it.

thracian your page is gorgeous! I love the heart background paper with all the pink layered on top. stinkerbelle you really couldn't have used any other colour for this page! I love the dotted swiss background and seeing some old favourites in your paper layers (I still have those MM journaling papers hoarded.)

My favorite color is blue- any blue, aqua, cobalt, bright blue ...not real keen on pastels. I have to be careful not to overuse it. I used MOSTLY blue in this layout. ( I do love how beige works with blue as a neutral, especially with water pictures.) This is a double traditional page & I used Club Scrap Lagoon paper.  28-4-28 by Pati Nuce, on Flickr |

patin ooh so pretty! I love all the fun photos, the fussy cut starfish and I can’t believe you tied bows on all the little starfish charms! That’s dedication, baby justjac your purple background goes so well with the tones in the photos and her awesome mermaid blanket!
