For me it's the Chevrolet commercial where people are sitting around a table on a freeway exit. Stupid & dangerous premise, but it's not so much the content of this commercial that is driving me crazy it's the fact that it is playing relentlessly. Just the other night it played 7 times in an hour and 15 minutes on our local ABC affiliate. Does it make me remember Chevrolet cars? Absolutley.. I remember them so much I will never buy one again! How about you? What's getting under your skin on television lately?

I wish for a heavy building to fall on Reba McIntyre at least fifteen times a night because that's how many times her KFC commercials play!!! (It's wintertime, I watch a lot of TV in the winter, sue me!) Those commercials and her voice....OMG.

The ad for the show Living Biblically. Sounds like the dumbest show ever and the ad plays at least 3 times every 30 minutes.

A commercial where the ladies are getting ready to make out with their significant other and the camera zooms in on their face and they think to themselves, "Did I remember my BC pills?". I think one lady is getting ready to go on a trip and she gets that holy crap look on her face as she has left. I don't even know what they are advertising, some sort of long term birth control? The ladies just get the dumbest look on their faces, like they are the worst actresses in the world.

We have a local credit union that has been running an ad with a customer testimonial that just pisses me off. The premise is that the customer, let's call him Joe Midwest, has a son that is engaged to a woman from Japan and the wedding will be there. He says that "within 3 days" of the engagement he went to the credit union to get a credit card that will work internationally. Uhm dude, they didn't move a mountain for you and pretty much any credit card will work internationally. But the kicker is when he laughs and tells his son to "keep her" when he finds out he will get to go to a Japan for the wedding. Keep her?!?! The feminist in me wants to throats punch him through the tv every time.

And we are already getting inundated with political ads here. I am completely appalled by the one where they use the name and photo of a man recently killed by a drunk driver, who happened to be here illegally, without permission and against the widow's wishes. But the campaign defended it because the caditate and his wife are praying for his family

The JG Wentworth commercials bug the heck out of me. They play it every morning, several time during one show, and that song just sticks in my head. Oh hell, now that I've typed this out, there it is again.

not mad but humorously annoyed. it's the suburu commercial where the dad is cleaning out the car and pulls out all this stuff from the time his daughter was little to when she is grown. oh...come...on. it's because i'm a neat freak about my car and there is no way i would ever have enough leftover crap in there to reminisce about anything. lol

I'm going to start watching it from the standpoint of trash left in a car from now on.

The commercial for an insurance company (I think?) where the family is on a road trip and everyone except for the dad is plugged into their phones really disturbs me. He talks to everyone knowing they don't hear him. He says something about sometimes leaving the toilet seat up on purpose and buying golf clubs with his insurance savings. I hate the family for tuning out and I hate the dad for being an ass. But I also feel bad for him.

I hate the Halos(oranges)commercials. I hate that they bratty kids get their way. I especially hate the one with the little girl who rips of the head of her stuffed horse and leaves in her parents' bed. Sick!
There is another for capri sun(I think) that the little girl is going to shave her sister's head if she doesn't get them. Um, no! No wonder kids think its okay to act that way.

the DN commercial where the guy says he 'thought he was German but turns out he is Scottish so traded in his lederhosen for a kilt.'
So, either he was adopted, or somebody had an affair. Either way, I have to assume all those German festivals were done with family and friends but he would walk away from that based on biology.

The Dominos pizza ad where the guy slips on the ice on the sidewalk so he gets to replace his pizza. A fall like that could kill him, paralyze him or seriously break bones. It is not funny at all and I despise that they use a fall like that to sell pizza.
The insurance commercial where the guy is in a parade and everyone is yelling, "You're on fire!" I think people would say, "The car's on fire," Again, the guy throws himself out of the car on the ground leaving the driver still driving a flaming vehicle. I mute or speed through it.

Actually, the point is, even though the family was from Germany, at some point they migrated there from Scotland. My husband’s family is English/German/Italian. He did the DNA test and discovered he’s 30% Scandinavian. At some point his Scandinavian ancestors moved to one of those other countries.

What I want to know about the Dominos one is how he got back to Dominos if a tree just fell on his car.

I can’t stand the Kay Jewelers jingle “Every kiss begins with K.” We always sing “And divorce begins with D” right after it.
