This week is both of my son's Spring Break (one in High School, one in College) and we are all home this week. Yay!
I am putting this out into the universe that I want to work on Project Life this week. I have done nothing for 2018 so far! Yikes. I do have photos printed for Jan/Feb so there is that.
I am also behind in my OLW. (need to work on March - haven't watched the video yet, much less practiced anything for this month.
So here is my goal: I WILL finish Jan and Feb for Project Life. I WILL also get started on OLW (though, my plan is to do my 'practice' daily next month.
How about you? Want to join me in some Spring Break crafting? Whats on your list?

This is the first spring break in awhile that we will actually all be home. I am kinda excited about it - though, come Wednesday or so, I am sure I will be ready for all of us to be doing our own things again! DH leaves on Wednesday night for a big fishing trip, so from Wed-Sat night late it will be just be me + the boys. Im sure they will find things to do with their friends so I am expecting lots of 'me' time to craft.

A 5-day scrapbooking retreat!!! Good friends, only responsible for 1 meal, lots of drinking, laughing, & snacking...four hours away from home!!!
I can't wait to go, but first I need to spend the next 2 days packing up my stuff. I've spent the last week or so organizing a lot of things since I haven't been to a crop since this same one last year (finally broke up all of my SC PL cards by category instead of monthly kit...that was fun...).

It sounds like you have a good plan mom . I hope you get lots done. And enjoy your family time. 950nancy - Whenever I pack items to craft while on a trip, I seem to just lug it around and never get to it. huskermom98 - 5 days! Wow. My max retreat time was Thursday night through Sunday afternoon. Not much crafty time for me in the next few weeks. My mom just had surgery (Whipple for pancreatic cancer) and the hospital is 2 hours one way. By the time I get home I'm exhausted from traffic and travel. Once she gets out (one more week!) it's only a 20 minute drive to my parents house and I can pack some stuff to take with me and spread out on their dining table.

I was in North Carolina with the same schedule last week and planned a bunch of layouts. Now if it was a fun trip, I wouldn't even think about it.

I did offer to do these two trips (interviewing first graders) since my background is in education. I do worry about getting stuck in a city or airport (like last week's fiasco). Spending four hours in Chicago was about my limit for a layover. I was really antsy. I can only surf the web so long.

It is a good hobby to have because you can pack a few things (and make embellishments), or pack a bunch and get some layouts completed.

My kids have spring break at the end of the month. I think the school district doesn't want to fit an extra holiday in or something (Good Friday) because spring break is ALWAYS the week of Easter, every single year. My trip to California is the following week, so I'll be focusing on getting everything ready to go during spring break rather than making much of anything. Right now, I'm trying to wrap up catching up on photos. I just finished sorting through the end of February and will be working on editing as time permits today and tomorrow (the last order I placed was a few days before the end of August so there are a number of months to wrap up). It takes about a week for me to get my picture orders in, so I have to order this week in order to have time to date, cut and set them up in my PL albums so that I don't have that task on my to do list the week of spring break.
The only crafty stuff I think I'll do during spring break is pulling out my cameo to print and cut a bunch of files from Elle's Studio and possibly recolor another batch of labels so I can bring those with me, too.
I will say that I do have a bit of a bug for 'spring cleaning' as I'm not only hoping to get a lot of stuff done around the house, but I'm finally working on several organizational projects that I've been putting off (mostly because I've been too cheap to buy the materials) in my craft space as well. I'm due to receive the last of the things I need tomorrow, so here's hoping that I can make a good sized dent in not only prepping things for my stamp and die storage systems, but also in labeling them! The labeling is the part I hate. I don't mind my Dymo labeler (I've had it since high school and it's still going strong) but it's not the most user friendly as the keyboard is alphabetical. I'm tempted to splurge on a brother p-touch since there are some well reviewed knockoff tapes available (you can always get the p-touch for super cheap, but 2 rolls of branded tape cost as much as the machine so I've never taken the plunge).

Well, for todays progress update, I have started January and am about 1/2 done. January was a busy month for me so I knew I probably would not get the whole month done so I am happy with todays progress.

Spring break isn't until the last week of March and the second week of April for me (2 kids, 2 different schools). I get more done when they are *in* school. I'll go with get lots of pages planned before the last week of March and get photos ordered.

Well, no scrapbooking happened today. But it is my 14th wedding anniversary so I spent the day loving on my husband + a nice grown up dinner out. Oh, and I found a new favorite cocktail - a watermelon mule. So, so good. Anyway, I am home alone all day tomorrow except for a trip to the dentist for a cleaning. So I will play the day away tomorrow!

I don't get spring break but my husband and son are teachers so they do - the week after Easter. I will be home recovering from an upcoming surgery. The only SBR thing I will do is at the very end of my sick leave we are travelling to Pennsylvania and I will visit the LSS near my mom's house.

Oh no! Hope you have a speedy recovery! Thank you! I hope so too. It's my second surgery and 4th time under anesthesia since January. I'm not in pain really so I wish I didn't need it. I dread the first week afterward!

Our spring break is next week and I’m determined to clean the garage and my youngest dds room (which is where my craft desk is) so I’m not so obtrusive in her space. Praying for warm weather!
Oh and I need to order pix for my girls to start their project life from our trip. I think that will be my scrapping—helping them get started. I got all those kits at sc last year and that was part of their Christmas gift. They’ll have fun I’m sure. They loved the little boxes full of bits and baubles!

After this week of PL'ing I am going to need to spend some time cleaning up my space again. I just seem to work better when I only have 6 inches of free space on my desk. LOL

One of my DD's and my DH are off this week, but it hasn't been any kind of a break for me. I'm excited by the thought of doing some crafting next week when they go back to school and work, and my house is quieter.

Spring break is a couple of weeks away in my area. We're still not sure if we're going out of town or not. If not I will definitely be doing some scrapping. GiantsFan , you're a good daughter. It's not easy doing all that travelling but I'm sure it's a great comfort to your mother. huskermom98 , do you have room for about 100 more? We want to come, too. mom, Happy anniversary! Now I want a watermelon mule. That sounds so good!

LisaDV - Thank you. She's doing good but not out the of woods yet. Elsabelle - I don't know if I'm comfort to my mom, but I just hate for my Dad to drive up there all by himself. Luckily my DH knows that my family is important to me and doesn't mind me going. Plus, he's probably glad I'm out of his hair for a while.
