I couldn't care less about college basketball, but this I am watching. What an upset if it happens!

I am at work right now and can't see it, but UMBC beat out my Vermont Catamounts for the America East Championship in an upset. We were 1. This should be my Cats playing them. My bracket was broken the 1st game...hahaha.

What a game!
Earlier today, ESPN said there was only 1 bracket in the 17+ million completed on their site that was 100% correct. Guessing that one's probably busted now too.

Go UMBC! I am a Terp (Univ. of Maryland College Park) and my daughter is at UMCP, so we are thrilled! Fear the Retriever! I am so happy, and shocked that I will be up all night! So proud of our other Univ. of Maryland campus!

I didn’t think that a number 16 would ever beat a number 1 seed, so I didn’t get this game right, but I’m still feeling good about my bracket since I’m the only one in my family pool who didn’t have Virginia in the Final Four. Go Mom!

That was a great game. One correction though. They are the first 16 to beat a 1 in the Men's tournament. Harvard women did it 20 years ago yesterday. Also, check out the umbc athletics Twitter. I love a fresh, fun Twitter account.

Some jerk reporter asked the Virginia players after the game if they realized a 16 had never beat a 1. Why the Hell would you ask that?
I had Virginia going pretty far originally, but changed when Hunter got hurt and was out for the tourney. Glad I did that

I'm so mad I missed it. I live about 15 minutes from UMBC. UMBC is a very good school. Very science oriented. You need to be very smart to get it. My daughter looked into it and as soon as we heard the first speaker, we realized this was not the school for her.
