If you have had the Erin Condren calendar/planner before, you know that the perpetual calendar is in the front of the calendar. You have to rewrite it every year unless you tear the pages out. Well, this year, it's a separate little book in the back pocket that can be moved from year to year. I am so excited about this change. Just got my 2015 calendar today, and LOVE it!

I just got my first one and love it! I wish the calendar had more contact pages, though.
Question: I am carrying my planner in my purse every day. For anyone who's used one for an entire year - did it hold up okay with you carrying it around all year?

I don't carry mine around but I am on my 3rd calendar. They are sturdy so I think it would be fine.

I am in a group with Erin Condren fans and a lot of people carry theirs in their bag but they keep it protected by keeping it in a smaller pouch. Seems a very common bag is the large zippered bag from 31.

Torn though after splurging on the EC Life Planner - b/c I saw someone on a blog link a zippered pouch from The Container Store that was MUCH less expensive (but not nearly as cute).

I've used the EC planner for several years. I have never had a problem with unusual wear and tear because of carrying it in my bag. That seems kind of odd to me to be honest, but I'm not "hard" on my things in general. I do make sure I close it each time I put it in my bag so the hard covers are on the outside and don't leave the paper pages exposed. I like the perpetual calendar change for this year. I have to say...EC is really good about listening to customer feedback and making changes. That impresses me.

I'm hoping there will be an option to purchase another one when I order my next LP. I use the perpetual calendar to keep track of when I blog & upload YT videos. Very easy to look back at a month to see what I did.

a pouch for your planner? then what will you keep your pouch in so it doesn't get dirty? and what will you keep THAT in? I use mine every day and take it in my purse and throw my kids' stuff on top of it in my bag. it's totally fine. tabs = fine. pages - fine. binding = fine.

This made me laugh b/c I had the same thought! I guess I am rough b/c my last EC planner got a little more ragged than I would like carrying it around with me in my bag every day. I was thinking about the pouch in the hopes that not only would it cut down on wear and tear to my planner but that it might hold my gel pens that I use with my planner as well.
