Favorites? I used to buy Bazzill and I also have some of the Recollections brand. Lately though I have been wanting to get cardstock that has matching inks. I purchashed a sample pack from My Favorite Things and one from Lawn Fawn. One thing I will say that I noticed was that Lawn Fawn cuts way better! Its crisper or something. I have a thin Birthday die and it won't cut through with MFT. It comes out perfect with the LF. Which got me to wondering... do people have a favorite brand? And is one better for card making? I hear a lot about Gina K but haven't tried that. I do wish that these companies made 12x12 though!

My favorite cardstock is from Close to my Heart. I buy all my bulk cardstock in basic colors from them. Stampin Up and Creatives Memories both have good cardstock too.

I love Bazzill because I feel like I am getting a thicker weight cardstock... American Crafts just seems to be getting thinner and thinner as of late.

I mainly use MFT and Lawn Fawn.
I have lots of Bazzill 12x12 from my scrapbooking days. It has good weight but it's textured and I find that when using dies it doesn't cut all the way through and leaves "ragged" edges.

I have always used Stampin' Up! cardstock because I have the co-ordinating inks, but I did order some MFT cardstock last summer to try and I really liked it. I got their prestige cardstock sampler. I don't know what makes it prestige, though. I haven't had any trouble cutting it but I've only used a paper trimmer on it. I'm hoping to try the Lawn Fawn cardstock next, it's good to know that it cuts so crisply.
Which brands' colours do you like better in the cardstock, MFT or Lawn Fawn?

I mostly use AC for scrapping because it's readily available here and Papertrey Ink cardstock for card making, because I still have quite a large collection of colours.

not a stamper - but my current go-to for coloured cardstock are the Craftsmith 'Hot Buy' pads at Micheals - they have a nice texture and aren't too thick or too thin

I forgot about Stampin Up. I did like their cardstock a lot. For the people using Bazzill, where are you getting it from? I don't really see it anywhere and I thought it was discontinued? Which brands' colours do you like better in the cardstock, MFT or Lawn Fawn? MFT has a lot more colors for sure- but I do think I like Lawn Fawn's just slightly better. But it just might be because I like the feel of the paper. lol Don't get me wrong I do really like MFT too, it was just the way that it didn't cut through that is making me reconsider investing in it! I am going to try and cut it again and post a pic to show what I mean.

If you click on it you can see the purple is LF it snapped right out. The red MFT I can't even pull it apart. Thats a really big difference. And I did nothing different. I even placed them on the same exact spot on the cutting mat.

I have enough bazzill and su cardstock to last me forever. But someday when it's all gone, I want to try some Gina K and MFT cs.
eta: my bazzill cardstock was bought a long time ago. Probably 10 or more years ago.

where are y'all buying the Lawn Fawn card stock from? I got mine directly from Lawn Fawn. I purchased the sampler pack, and now I just ordered the blue jay paper pack with the ink. I saw it used for a starry night background and I thought it looked so pretty.

American Crafts bought Bazzill. I guess they cut way back on the cardstock colors of the Bazzill Smoothie. My not-so-local scrapbook store is ordering Bazzill for me. I LOVE Bazzill Smoothie for die cutting. Die cutting with a Cricut or Silhouette. I am missing so many colors now.

I even placed them on the same exact spot on the cutting mat. That is a huge difference, wow. I can't wait to try Lawn Fawn's cardstock- hopefully this summer I'll place an order while I'm in the U.S. Their patterned papers are so pretty, too. And I love their ink colours. Thanks for showing the comparison!
