I said it depends. I am ok with a bundle if it saves me money.

Individual all the way. I don’t need help making purchase decisions and often I want more than one of the same item but I’m not prepared to purchase the bundle twice.

I said it depends. I am ok with a bundle if it saves me money. I originally voted no to bundles then read this and changed my vote. I prefer it whena bundle shows a reasonable saving and I still have the option to buy the items individually.

I voted individually, but the only exception might be chipboard because it's all the same type. I really don't like the sticker bundles, mostly because I rarely need 2 of each sheet...still have full sheets from DD.
But in reality, I'm guessing bundling does save some money...

I'm a PITA, because I only like bundling if I'm super in love with most everything in the bundle. I'm sure that's an impossible task, but in the case of this WITL, I'm passing on a bundle.

I said individual because usually there is one thing in a bundle I don't like.
And in the case of AE, there isn't enough of a discount in the bundle to make it worth it.

Seriously. Cart read to go, promo code in and I get a gateway error. Over and over. This should not happen anymore.

Ordinarily I don’t care. But with ali it’s this:
We listened to you guys and now the albums are sold separately (but it’s going to cost more)
But they left the ridiculous chipboard bundled so you’re $13 in if you want chipboard.
That’s why I don’t get into her stuff. It’s the same ridiculous head games as studio calico.
I do buy add on kits at Citrus twist because they bundle the latest embellishments. You can get the items elsewhere individually for the same price but I feel like I’m getting a better deal, and I usually am but just by a few bucks.

I've always liked Ali and her products, but I'm starting to get weary of the way her customer is treated. (Edited.) I do wish her and her team the best. Katie here has been helpful more than once. I'm just becoming increasingly disappointed with the marketing practices of "milking it for all it's worth". The latest example is not including the WITL digital kit with the main kit.

I'm all for bundling if it is paired with a reasonable discount. Saving 2 bucks on the half million dollar chipboard isn't discounted enough for me. And with most bundling I feel like I'm being forced to buy more things than I really want to. That makes me not purchase.
I would like it if they offered items individually. It gives more freedom to pick and choose. For example, with this kit, I would love to have a couple of sets of the journaling cards. I can use them repeatedly throughout the year. Or I would like just one sheet of the puffy stickers. I don't need more than that. I have soooo much stuff in my stash that I can always make due. But I'm one of those who use what they have and don't hoard things. Maybe I am just not their marketing target.

I have no problem paying $24.99 for chipboard IF I liked every set (which I usually do not and why I do not like bundling). $24.99 / 6 = $4.17/set. I'd rather pay $4.99 per chipboard set and pick only the items I like. Using this example if I only like 5 of the chipboard and RAK the 6th, the perceived "saving" of 83 cents per chipboard is a wash for what was saved by bundling. Sure Ali sold more, but you know a lot of customers would have purchased more than 6 by doubling up on their favorites. It gets even less appealing if you only like 3 or 4 of the items in a large bundle.

Not to be negative Nelly, but can anyone imagine the nightmare with shipping if you could buy each item individually? I don't have the confidence in the shipping system. At least bundled you have a pretty good chance of getting it.

I wish there was a create your own bundle option- I would go for that.
Until that happens, I will wait until it goes on sale. I don't need it that badly.

I love to have options right up until the last detail on a project, so I like to have the bundles or full collections or the paper pad, especially when I am ordering on line and can't really determine which will go better with which. I also have no patience, so I don't want to order a few items, realize I can really use more of them and then have to wait until a new order arrives.
If I am purchasing in store I am more likely to pick and choose particular papers, but even there I often pick up a whole collection: sometimes with a few extra of the papers I really love.

For being a company that specializes in "brand" product fulfillment, you'd think they could figure out shipping logistics and computer systems. How sad we expect them to drop the ball before the game even starts.

Not only that, in the mad rush to check out before stuff got sold out, I can't imagine trying to add 50 different things to my cart...it was hard enough trying to add a few bundles...and I still didn't get everything I wanted... I really don't like shopping this way...

The latest example is not including the WITL digital kit with the main kit. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but has that actually been stated anywhere? Only asking because I vaguely remember that people who bought the main WITL kits last year and the year before weren't told about recieving the main digital kit until a few weeks later after purchasing (when the digital files go on release). I think? I'm really confused now, but it's bashing at my brain, sorry, I'm ill and can't think straight!

Individual for sure. Because I want the cork stickers, cork bubbles, and the plastic circles, but have 2 bundles in my cart.
Also 1 sheet of stickers and for all the stickers to make sense in the bundle. Why are all the stickers white based, but the word phrase are cream? There's no cream in the kit from what I can tell so they look really out of place so I'm unlikely to use them in my album.

I read it at least twice, but I could only find this: aliedwards.com/2018/03/week-in-the-life-2018-product-preview. Jamie59 asks about it. I hope you get better soon.
