Anyone have any?
I must brush my teeth before scrapping. I can negotiate on shower but I like to have had a shower too. I can scrap in my pjs all day but only if I’ve showered and then got back into pjs.
I like to feel fresh - I’m much more productive that way.
Also I leave my phone out of the room to aid productivity!

I am that person who has to clean and put away after each project, I just can't be creative with a mess. I too shower, put pajamas back on and have a cup of coffee before I start anything.

I must, must have a iced beverage on my desk before I can scrapbook.

I go into my scrap room maybe six times a day, so I don't have any rituals. I do like to have it cleaned up before I start a new project though.
Recently I have been emptying my trash can because the new "trash panda" (puppy) loves paper scraps.

I clean up between projects and I often scrap better when I'm multi-tasking (alternating between scrapping and housework for instance) - I think because getting up and moving around resets my brain

Nope. No rituals for me. I can be in and out all day long. Now if I have the whole day to scrap, I will have a beverage on the desk but that can vary by time of day and level of tiredness.

I must have coffee and then i constantly go back downstairs to get more coffee. I can't scrap unless i have hot coffee. I have a mug warmer for my desk but its still not perfect.
I think my next move is a small Keurig for my scrapbook studio.
The whole coffee issue keeps me from working & I'm not sure this falls under the ritual category lol.

My ritual is looking for items I've lost, all while still sitting at my table.

I am in an odd situation in that sometimes I scrapbook at work. When I scrapbook at work, I take page kits or small parts of kits (journaling cards for example). I don't really have any rituals at work, other than cleaning up after each step.
At home is a whole 'nother story lol...
My house must be clean and my laundry can not be out of control...
I scrap in my pj's also, usually after a shower.
I take water and then usually something else (coffee or tea) in to drink with me.
I get something on TV to watch that I have seen before...but like it enough to watch again. Currently I'm blowing through forensic files on Netflix.

I think I have an unusual one. I love listening to Coast to Coast AM. I love the paranormal, conspiracy theories, ghost stories etc. I have the app and listen to past shows. Anyone else a part of George's army? lol

Must have just the right movie on Netflix. Can’t be a romcom, usually a depressing or horror flick are the only types I can watch and scrap to!

1. Love having American idol on, or America's got talent. I can listserv without watching. 2. I indulge in a diet coke. 3. Room must be clean, and house and kitchen just be totally clean. It's a wonder I ever create!!!

I only scrap at crops. I set things up a certain way. They don't stay that way but I always set them up like that. Then before I leave from a crop that I am returning to the next day, I have to put everything away and set up for the next day.
That's my only ritual.

I spend 5 minutes figuring out why I came out to my studio. I like my studio clean and orderly, it gets that way every couple of years ... but I know where everything is ... except for that thing I need.

I have to listen to podcasts and a glass of wine ( maybe taboo but I scrap around 9pm on friday nights. ) True confession, sometimes I have two over the course of 3-4 hours. I have to be in my pi's and robe no matter the time of year.

I start off with something to drink. When the weather is cooler I’ll make a cup of tea and also bring in a big glass of water. I used to put on the 6 hour version of Pride and Prejudice but lately I’ve been listening to true crime podcasts.

I don't exactly have any rituals but I do clean my desk after I've completed each page. I focus better with a clean start.
I feel like I've learned so much about you all thanks to this thread!

No ritual, but I do clean up after my projects or I would lose stuff!! The only constant is my cup of tea or coffee.

I have to clean up after every two or three pages. I try to clean as I go but that usually doesn't happen after the first few pages if I'm on a roll. Gotta have a drink, usually water, sometimes Dt. Mt. Dew. I used to scrap with a bowl of M&Ms too but don't do that anymore since they aren't keto! I like to have SVU or NCIS, or some "marathon" on the tv. I can't see it from my desk, but I listen and generally they are eps that I've seen a few times.

I've listened to Serial, S-Town and Dirty John but need another one!

No rituals, but like several others, I clean up after each layout.
My favorite way to scrap is in my pajamas. It seems lots of us are like that!

I'm a cleaner between pages as well. And I wander around too. I'll do a bit here, wander off and do something else, come back, do a bit more and so on. My craft room is a conservatory off the kitchen so I often start a page while my machine is making my cappuccino in the morning!
