I'm pretty content with what my life is right now. Home and cars paid for. Nice furnishing etc. but the future scares me. I would like to have all the money I will need to take care of dh and I when we are no longer able to care for ourselves I don't want to be a burden to our kids so lots of money would take care of that.

Property. Specifically....
Acres and acres and acres. With lots of walking trails. With a small river/stream running through it, or a small pond, lake, etc.. Several permanent tiny type houses. An outdoor gathering area, with benches, fire pit, covered bar, barbeque grill, covered gazebo, etc.. A fence around the entire property.

If money were no object, I would buy myself and my BFF a European trip - We'd travel around Europe for months and stay at 4 star hotels the entire time.

A condo right on the beach. I don't even care where. I would buy my SO a big camper so we could travel around. I would pay for dd's dream college and actually be able to afford for her to go to Penn State. I don't know what I would do for my son just yet because I don't think he is going to go to college.

For me- I would pour money into pancreatic cancer research. Compared to breast and lung cancer, pancreatic cancer is horribly underfunded yes! absolutely! more research for pancreatic cancer. always a late diagnosis and very low survival rates. that needs to change.

For myself a cruising blue water sailboat to take that around the world sailing trip I've been dreaming about since I read the book "Dove" when I was 17 which was 40 years ago. DH isn't into sailing but my father is and that's who I usually sail with so I'd invite him to come along after buying my parents a new house and paying off their mortgage and all of their bills. DH and my Mom can keep each other company until we get back.
For DH I'd pay off all of our bills and have enough to put into savings so he could retire. I'd also sell our house (which is almost paid for) and buy us a new one still here in Annapolis but with a bit more land around it so we aren't so close to the neighbors (that's DH's wish). I'd like one that is waterfront with a pool in the backyard and a pier for a boat. And finally I'd love a vacation home in St. John USVI for me to escape to in the winter because I am sick and tired of dealing with winter.

I would trade my Honda Odyssey that I hate because it is so incredibly uncomfortable to ride in. There are other design issues we don't like but that is the main thing. I loved my Windstar, I so wish Ford would go back to making minivans. So ironic that you mention this because I think driving the Pilot is contributing to my Achilles' tendon issues. I'd trade it but I don't want another car payment. We just bought a Subaru that my DH drives, but it will eventually be given to DS3.

We'd move.
Most likely Texas between San Antonio and Austin. Near my mom and out of So. California. I troll Redfin and Zillow daily and know exactly what I'm looking for now. That said, we're not even close. We are still in conservatorship hell (though we did win along with getting sole control of the family trust).
I DID just buy a new laptop because (a) I'm the only one working and (b) I've put up with MIL crap for almost 3 years and I wanted something for me since I'm the one supporting this crapfest and buying it pulled me off the edge. It's made me happy and it's got me organizing photos and Silhouette files so I get to retreat into my private world when I go home (after a 1.5 hr commute each way).
Hubby bought me daffodils two weeks running - he's trying. Course, technically, I bought the daffodils LOL

So much fun to think about. 1. my DH enough money so he can retire and not think twice about it 2. my daughter a bigger house 3. my son i'd love to set him up in his own business 4. me I'd love to be able to get a golden retriever puppy. There is a local breeder I dream about calling them one day and arranging to pick out a puppy.

I would buy a little shore house in New Jersey. I would ride my bike on the boardwalk and sit on my sand chair at the ocean’s edge.

Travel with no set itinerary. To be able to stay in a place as long or as short as I want.

A huge but comfy house decorated by Joanna, Jonathan, and Candice. This one purchase would come with new cars and a boat in the garage. There’s a beach entrance pool and cabana in the back yard. And of course a fully stocked library, theater room. Oh and of course a fully stocked closet of Gucci, LV, Balenciaga, Chanel and Hermès clothes, bag, jewelry, shoes, etc. go big or go home right! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I’d buy land and open a dog sanctuary for senior dogs.
I’d also love to hire a professional genealogist to work on my family tree. I’ve been working on it myself for 20 years, but I’ve hit a lot of brick walls. It would be fabulous to have Henry Louis Gates do MY story like he does for celebrities.
And I’d love to be able to set up college funds for all my nieces and nephews.
Honestly, the most important thing unlimited money could do, would be to allow me to visit and spend more time with loved ones. We moved away from “home” to another state 30 years ago. We do go back to visit often, but we’re all getting older and many loved ones have passed. I’d love to be able to visit more.

I don't really want much, so I'm taking my butt load of money and throwing it at cancer research, because cancer fucking sucks.

I have to really think of something I would want to put it on my list.
This is pure fluff I would like these expensive Wayne Goss makeup brushes I would like this cool blush that is flower petals
There is nothing I would want to buy. I am not a lakefront kind of person. Maybe a bigger, nicer house? I live on an amazing street with lovely neighbours and life is good. I guess I would get a new car and it would be the same as my old car just BETTER SEATS. That is a must. But again, fluff. My car rides just fine and is super easy to drive.

An oceanfront beach house with a pool, and lots of land for rescue doggies to run around on. We'd adopt MANY doggies, and have plenty of money for all the vet bills, food, etc.

I'd buy a cabin up north so we can escape the heat and go play in the snow in the winter, and bungalow in San Diego near the beach, a jacuzzi, and I'd travel.

A family compound somewhere with nice weather.
But beyond that I have a dream of opening a mental health practice for children and youth that’s based around storytelling, art, and drama therapy that would be free to participate in and have a lounge for parents and a playground and some other stuff.

I'd rent out a huge resort and have a 2peas refugee. The guest list would be super exclusive;)
I'd also buy the property we want in WVA,give each one of my girls some money and then hubby and I would sprinkle happiness as we traveled.

I would buy a townhouse in the area of town in which I'd like to live. And then, new furniture to go in my new townhouse, of course.
