This one is easy. Go to the RefuPea Gallery and choose a page that inspires you. Copy or link it here, tell us what ideas you borrowed from it, and post your layout along with it. Remember to leave some love in the Gallery

Great challenge. Have added it to the April challenges list.
And, since lifting a Pea is part of my Grow a Garden challenge, I will totally count this as an extra point when I get that one done.

stinkerbelle thank you so much for choosing my layout! I love how different yours looks with the black cardstock and the b&w photo, although the more I look the more I see our pages have in common. Clearly I'm biased but I think it's a beautiful page I love, love this collection - I bought it in digital when it was released and was super excited when MME put it out as a paper line. grammadee did you mitre the corners on that b&w background paper? I love the framing effect. I left you some praise in the gallery.

The page I linked is msliz's. Most of my scrapping will happen at the crop at the end of the month, but since I need to do a couple of lifts, I thought I would pick them now so I could think about photos and papers to take with me.

stinkerbelle and Chinagirl828 , I love both of your layouts. What beautiful paper - it really lends itself well to the portrait photos you used. I like the black accents on both pages. Chinagirl828 , you asked did you mitre the corners on that b&w background paper? I love the framing effect. I left you some praise in the gallery. Yes, I did mitre the corners. It's really easy to do with washi tape since it doesn't stick to itself. Thanks for the gallery praise! grammadee , I'm flattered that you chose my page - I can't wait to see what you do with it! My Pea Love is for audreykit . I don't think I've ever "met" her on the boards, but she's been an active poster in the gallery. I'm crazy about all of her pages. Her style is very different from mine (I make a lot of multi-photo layouts) but I have one last single photo page to make for this album, and I wanted to use one of her pages for inspiration. So many of her pages feature layouts with a strong sense of direction, cool mixed media backgounds, and a whimsical feel from all the pretty things and fun things all over the place. Here's the inspiration page: And here's mine: Thanks Audrey

It's beautiful, mikklynn Wouldn't it be great if someone chose to use your page for inspiration, and then someone used that page, and so on ...

Ok, so I was happily doing the Grow a Garden challenge and my criteria was to create a background using mixed media and use one photo and to scraplift a Pea. So I chose this LO from DawnMcD which she did for the Feb 28-4-28 Day 10, Word Prompt (Love) challenge I loved her LO so I pretty much copied it and it had mixed media in the background so I killed 2 birds with one stone. Except..... I totally forgot to include all the other bits of the Grown a garden challenge. I was meant to have 6 other things on there, diecuts, chipboard, enamel dots, punches, yellow and something I chose. Bugger! I don't want to start adding more so I'm using this as a scraplift challenge instead. Thanks for your inspiration DawnMcD I loved your LO so I pretty much copied it!

kiwigirl, I didn't see this in the gallery, so I'll leave love here. I love the layout you chose, and what you did with it. I love your mixed media work, the circles and the colors, but I LOVE, love, LOVE the journaling line "i would step on a piece of lego for you"! because that is true love! Only someone who has stepped on legos would know that.

DawnMcD and kiwigirl, I love both of these pages. For me, it's the treatment on the background pages that really makes it special - the stamping, the inking. And so much fun energy with the circles and hearts!

I love this layout too. I usually scrap in multi-photo 4x6, so this is one I use over and over again. You both found really nice papers and embellishments for your pages.
