allergies?
I know when my allergies are getting worse and I need to start benedryl because it feels like my tongue is too wide for my teeth.
Am I the only one?

Nope, just monster headaches.
Your tongue swelling sounds a little scary. I'd probably freak out.

I've had issues with mild tongue swelling that goes away..... I hadn't tied it to allergies but I'll pay attention now!

Nope, just monster headaches. Your tongue swelling sounds a little scary. I'd probably freak out. Assuming Shevy's is like mine, I don't really realize it is swollen as much as it just seems a big too large for my teeth but it goes away. It doesn't LOOK swollen or particularly feel swollen other than bumping my teeth to much.

It is not an uncommon allergic reaction, though I haven't heard of it happening with seasonal allergies. But it makes sense that it could. As long as Benadryl helps it, I wouldn't worry.

He kept telling me he couldn't tell and would ask if I had been drinking. Lol. It's not obvious, just that it won't rest between my lower teeth. If I don't take Benedryl, the sides of my tongue will get sore. And I've never gone in for it because Benedryl takes care of it.

I've always heard that if your lips or mouth are being effected by an allergic reaction that you should get checked. The next time it could be your airway. It's worth a call to the doctor to ask.
