I signed up for a 15 hour crop at my LSS but because of a shoulder injury, I tore my rotator cuff, I'm not sure if I would be able to scrapbook for 12-15 hours, or at all for that matter. It gets very sore when I scrapbook for an hour or two at home. Third world problems I know, but I haven't been to a crop or even scrapbooked with anyone else in a long time and I was so looking forward to it. Ok I'm done feeling sorry for myself.

Oh no! I hope your rotator cuff heals quickly. That injury is no joke.

Sorry that happened. It sucks when something like that ruins your plans. Especially ones that you were really looking forward to.

Ouch. That's a horrible injury to have. I'm sorry you'll be missing your crop.

What a bum deal, you can't do housework so you have all the time to scrap, but you can't do that either. I guess you'll have to recover in an easy chair with coffee, bon-bons and the clicker.

Can you go with just a couple of small projects? Work slowly and just enjoy being around other crafty people?

That's too bad, nancydrew. Don't cancel yet. By next week you may be able to hang in for more than a few minutes at a time. Can you get someone to carry your stuff out of the house and into the venue for you?

I hate it when things like that happen. I hope you find a way to still make it work and take care of yourself.

Sucky I'd say go, just take lots of anti-inflammatories, take an ice-pack with you and take breaks. And scrap mainly with the opposite arm, keep the sore arm resting on a pillow in your lap! Pain gets so...blech. My shoulder's bad right now too, and sleeping is so interupted, I'm grumpy all day!

Oh, rats. I would be so disappointed.
I hope you find a way to go for part of the time. I bet if you call the store, someone will help you carry your things.

I'm sorry. It sucks when something interferes with fun plans, and it's even worse when it's an injury.

If you aren't miserable with pain, I would still go. Don't expect to stay the whole time each day and bring a pillow for your arm (and butt).
