I read so many people recommend Matte Presentation Paper for printing diecuts or other non-photo things. I went with the recommendation, and last year, when I purchased my Epson Artisan printer (which is like a tiny ray of sunshine!), I picked up a pack of Presentation Paper. The first time I printed on it, it sucked. I tried changing all kinds of settings both in the printer settings and in Lightroom/Photoshop nothing helped. It always looked like shit. So I went back to cardstock, which was okay, but nowhere near the beautiful results that everyone bragged about with Presentation Paper. Last month, I decided to try it again, so I pulled out my pack of paper...only to see in big letters LASER. Seriously? So I ordered some INK JET Presentation Paper....and now I see what the fuss was about. To anyone that has posted about Presentation Paper, I apologize for calling you names in my head. š

I used to use the Matte Presentation Paper too, and like you I picked up a bunch of it based on recommendations from the peas - and I think Kerri Bradford raves about it as well. I like it well enough but it's not white. Somewhere along the line someone here felt the same way and there was a recommendation for Canon Matt photo paper. Of course I had to give it a try. I LOVE IT and it's the paper I reach for when I'm doing print and cuts. Unfortunately I still have a bunch of the Matte Presentation Paper, some that isn't even opened!

I use Epson Presentation Paper in Matte and itās pretty white to me. I got the basic, not the āPremiumā so it is pretty thin but I donāt mind that. Next order, Iāll probably go up to premium to try it, but for now, I just back it with white cardstock (I have a ton) if it shows through too much.

I think Ali Edwards also recommended the Matte Presentation Paper a few years ago. I picked up a pack and use it for printing die cuts from SC, mainly, and it works great. I'm glad you switched to the correct paper for your printer!
