I have finally learned my lesson. I will never get rid of any craft supplies again! hahaha
I was trying to do some organizing of my craft space a couple weeks ago and found a bunch of fibers that I collected way back when that was popular. I thought I haven't used them in so long I should really get rid of them. Now of course I have seen several projects using pretty fibers and I wish I still had them!

I hear you, and I definitely know the feeling, but... I tend to say that to myself even as I have a ever-growing list of things I *could* make with supplies I actually own, projects that never seem to actually get done because there are sooooo many awesome things I could make but I don't always follow through and take the time to make them. If I don't have a supply (whether I never had it or I used to have it and got rid of it) I tend to shrug and enjoy that other people are making whatever-it-is and then try to focus on using up the stuff I actually have.

The problem is that my craft room isn’t that big so sooner or later I run out of space. I have regretted a couple of things but not enough to stop decluttering every so often.

I am scared now! I need to get rid of stuff. Don't get rid of it? It's hard to know what to do!

My opinion is - if I had liked using the fibers (for example), I would have used them when I had them. I didn't enjoy them, purged them, and never looked back.
Also, most of the stuff I've purged would not cost a whole lot to replace, if I do have a change of heart.
Like most of us, my space is limited, so I used it for the things I love.

I still have my fiber collection, though I did purge several baggies worth a couple years ago. What are these pretty projects of which you speak?

Yeah once and awhile I regret getting rid of my old red Sixxix die cut machine... why why why... I kept mine because I can cut my big QK dies in it. Old Red has never failed me!

I just used this beauty I have had for almost 20 YEARS! They take up a lot of space but that's why I keep my dies. Attachments:

LOL I am always prepared for a scrapbooking apocalypse. You don't know when the scrapbooking apocalypse will happen. I mean it could! You have to be prepared at all times! Big Red, Big Kick and that other thing I have but I can't remember the name of it. I am seriously forgetting it. It's for cutting thin dies and they had matching stamps. Never get rid of any of it!

... I am always prepared for a scrapbooking apocalypse. Probably wise to prioritize, given the rate AC is buying companies (that will, like zombies, lose their identity & never be recognizable again).

i have been binge watching a gal on youtube who makes up her own kits and i'm pretty sure she has never thrown anything out LOL. i think i enjoy the videos most because i like seeing all of the old stuff, especially from companies we no longer have. she even inspired me to go searching on ebay for something old i loved long ago!
for me, if i don't like it, it's out.

I try to purge every once in a while. I've done it and haven't really missed what I've gotten rid of. I have too much stuff and too little time!!

Boy, if I took that advice I'd need a house twice the size! I don't think I have regretted purging anything and it's made room for more new stuff!
