I would like to have a couple of apps for meditation to relieve/calm anxiety. I looked in the app store, and so many of them seem to be for sleep/relaxation, and I am really not sure what to pick. So of course, I have to ask the Peas!

I've used Calm. You can do a variety of guided meditations for various goals. My sister uses Headspace.

Calm showed up in a Facebook ad for me a few days ago. I checked it out, but I think it said it was $59.99 per year. I quickly exited that one!

There are quite a few "7 Days of..." programs on there (anxiety, stress, gratitude, stress, an intro to meditation). I don't pay for it. You can repeat them (as far as I know).

I use Headspace, but my newest favorite is Insight Timer. It's free and there are thousands of meditations. If you download it, click on the headphones icon for the meditations. You can search by length of time and category: sleep, healing, mindfulness, etc.

I really like both Headspace and Insight Timer. I use them both frequently.
