Hey everyone! I planned to do this in April and get lots of points for my team but I was useless and never even got started. So now it's May and I actually did start today. I hope some of the rest of you will join me too. The challenge is to scrap every letter of the alphabet. So here's my A LO and I've scrapped Auckland, my home town. I was already thinking ahead to B and I'm gonna use Basic Grey for that so I used Basic Grey today for A as well! If the team points are the same as last month, it's 1 point for doing a LO, one point for doing a challenge and one point if you share it here, so 3 points for your team (I hope I have that right, I'll edit if I've got it wrong)

This sounds interesting. You're referring to the title, correct? Do we have to go in alphabetical order?
My wheels are spinning here.

This sounds interesting. You're referring to the title, correct? Do we have to go in alphabetical order? My wheels are spinning here. Anything can fit the letter, so it could be a manufacturer, product, your photo, your title, literally anything on the page be it big or tiny. I mean you could put a sequin on it and use it for your S page. I saw it done on a FB group in February and really wanted to play along but as I was here doing 28-4-28, I didn't want to take it on. But it looked fun and I loved seeing what people used for their letters. I will try and do a letter per day and post on this thread but I can't promise anything because..... well, I'm pretty slack!

H'mmm - great base and motivation to do an ABC baby book!!
M - Mexico Mission
O - Owl - I'll also claim this in the Stash Challenge
D - Disney - Like my Easter Bunny treat box, this is a little off the straight and narrow of scrapbooking. My grand-daughter, her fiancé and another couple are going to Disneyland. She asked for shirts - I've done 6 so far. How many points is that?

Today is C and I used Crate Paper, Craft Market and also the cray cray title I've had on my desk for ages. I love Craft Market, the colours are so pretty. I just layered up some of the tags in the ephemera pack and it came together super easy!

kiwigirl, that circle frame is my favorite element on your page. Your positioning in the photo makes it look like you're peeking out from a window. Fun page!

I wasn't that keen on Craft Market when it came out I don't think, who knows why I bought so much of it then eh lol! The wood frames are cool eh, I have done a few LO's on proper 12x12" embroidery frames over the years, inspired by those ones in the Craft Market collection. I was peeking around the corner of a brick wall in the photo being a dick lol!

So today is D and I did Dad. Coincidentally, it's the 30th anniversary of his death today. I have been dreading today because he's been gone twice as long as he was alive for me now, I was 15 when he died. I have been thinking about him a lot and just not been looking forward to this anniversary. So I was kind of dreading doing a LO as well. I shed a few tears and then went looking for some paper. I found this background one and it seemed perfect. Then I found the little bit of heart boca paper which also seemed perfect. I dug out some sequin waste cause I think it was mentioned on here a while ago and I always loved sequin waste so I've used it. And I still love it! So for all my aprehension of doing this LO, it's actually ended up being one of my favourites ever. I went for bright colours instead of heritage like I was thinking to go with that photo (I literally have 2 photos of my Dad and I, both when I was small - I think I'm 3 here - so I've scrapped them both numerous times) and it made me happy instead of sad!

Thank you grammadee, christinec68 and stinkerbelle, bless you guys! It's funny how some years you're fine and don't give it much of thought but other years it sucks majorly. I went and bought a frame for my LO and it looks great in there, it's going on my wall soon

For E I really wanted to do embossing with embossing paste. I did 2 backgrounds and neither of them worked how I wanted. I really struggle to get colour on to mixed media backgrounds and have it work like it does in my head. I did discover some products called Magicals on YouTube which look like they will work for me, it's a powder dye which you spinkle on the page and add water for a watercolour effect and it looks super easy and even I can do it lol! I ordered but they're coming from the US and I'm impatient! So embossing didn't work for me. I went with E for envelope instead and I feel a bit boring doing that! I did bust out a proper old BG rub-on though and that's a massive Prima rose as well, it's huge IRL! Oh, and the background is white. It's super sunny here this morning (makes a change from all the grey skies we have had in April) and it looks pink for some reason!

F is for Flea Market. I was planning on using Flourish for this LO but when I started going through the Maggie Holmes box, I found Flea Market first so I decided to use that instead. Oh, and then I picked up the wrong 6x6 pad so all the layers behind the photo are actually from another MH collection, I don't know which one, it doesn't have a name on the front, just Maggie Holmes. But hey, they all look the same right! I think I am about 18 in the photo, which is why I think I look fresh faced!

That Fresh Face page is SO pretty! Starting with the photo. Love the soft teals, the bold stripes, and how the black and gold make it all pop.

Thank you stinkerbelle and grammadee , I do appreciate your comments! Here's today's LO, G is for Good Vibes (cause I loved that collection) and also, Glasgow cause this is me on Buchanan St. I swear the LO is straight IRL, the line of Nuvos at the bottom aren't wonky! I am struggling to take photos in my normal spots cause it's so blimmen sunny here at the moment (very, very odd as it's a bank holiday today so it's a long weekend and nobody ever gets good weather on a long weekend so it's an anomaly for sure).
