I have two Audible credits to use up. I'm picky about audiobooks, there are a lot of lousy narrators out there. Right now I'm listening to The Flight Attendant, and the reader is not great.
What I like in a reader is a natural style, and an ability to delineate between character voices. Doesn't seem like too much to ask!
I like classic fiction, historical fiction, mysteries, thrillers. Don't like self-help, political memoirs, young adult.

Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency, by Alexander McCall Smith, a cozy series based in Botswana. Not political but the author’s love for the country is clearly evident.

The J.D. Robb In Death series is pretty good. Do you listen to romance? I have some suggestions there but dunno if it's your thing.

This is How it Always Is by Laurie Frenkel and The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. The narrators on both of these books were outstanding.

Westerns aren't my typical reading jam, but my son and ds got hooked on them. I had read Riders of the Purple Sage ages ago and loved it, so I recommended it to them. Dh is a fabulous reader and enjoys reading out loud to ds. He tried Riders of the Purple Sage, but couldn't get into it, and quit. For some reason, when it came up as an audible special, dh bought it. On their next car trip they listened to it, and were hooked. We listen to loads of audible, but they both said this was amazing, best ever. We have since listened to it half a dozen times.
My recommendation, Riders of the Purple Sage.

I enjoy the jack reacher series on audio. I'm not liking this series at all, not sure if it's the book or the way it's read. I keep retrying them, but just not for me I guess. My favorite is "in death" series by J.D. Robb. Murder mystery and really well done. I love, love, love the reader and she does all 48 books. I could skip the first book because it seems more brutal than any others, but once you get past that your in for a wonderful read.

This seems random, but julia Roberts read the Nanny Diaries and I really enjoyed listening. And I had already read the book before. She did a good job, even the child character. Whereas the most recent Judy Blume audiobook, In the Unlikely Event, that woman’s voice was nails on a chalkboard.

I really love those books, but I think I've read them all...not sure I need to listen. On the other hand, sometimes it helps to listen to something I've already read, as my mind is prone to wander...

I read about 20 of the In Death books, and after that I felt like I had the gist and didn't need to continue. Read one Jack Reacher and didn't care for it.

Last year I listened to The Stranger in the Woods (The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit) by Michael Finkel. I liked it a lot.
Right now I'm listening to Circe by Madeline Miller. So far, so good.

Have you read Anthony Horowitz" The two most recent Magpie Murders and Word is Murder? Two stand alone books, no connection between them. Both excellent/entertaining murder mystery books both with a bit of difference to the standard fare. Really good narration for both as well. Recently I've also enjoyed The English Wife by Lauren Willig The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan I'm currently listening to Kristin Lavransdatter by Tiina Nunnally. 44 hours long if you want value for money! I'm 5 hours in and enjoying it, it's very easy to listen to and interesting insight to another culture. Nothing like encouraging your child to drink more ale so they get a good night's sleep (it's set in 14th century Norway). It won a Nobel Prize in 1928.

I’ll Second The Hate U Give. I thought the narration of this book added an extra wow factor to it.
The Heart’s Invisible Furies-this is a nice long one so I felt I got my monies worth. Side note-I listened to the sample on audible and did not really care for the narrator in that snippet, but in the context of the story he was just perfect.
Bianca Amato narrates a lot of Philippa Gregory novels. Her narrations suck me in quickly to those stories.
Julia Whelan is another great narrator. I just listened to Kristin Hannah’s latest The Great Alone and that was a terrific listen.

I'm listening to the Harry Potter books narrated by Jim Dale (I think). I've read them before, and seen the movies, but I'm enjoying listening to them when I'm in the car. The narrator does a great job with the voices.
I've read all the In Death books, but I might have to see if the library has the audio ones. It would be kinda neat to have voices to go with those characters, especially Roarke, I love an Irish accent!
