I know right! I never posted anything on 2Peas (too scared!) but I loved all the drama. There was always something happening with big ol juicy threads to read. The Hall of Fame drama had me hooked!

I was thinking about this on my commute to work yesterday, coincidentally. I really miss how fast the old message boards went, it was a fun community. I was on there several times a day to see what was going on.

Now I donāt let that stop me. I couldnāt get the time for it multiple times in a day either. But man I loved the gallery and garden girl inspiration.

I liked 2 peas before they got the Pub Board. Then scrapbookers who wanted to be someone in the industry abandoned SBR and formed a clique that was complete snobbery. The way many of the posters talked about people on SBR, even though some of us still went to both boards. It wasn't mutually exclusive. Hateful, and in a very different way than NSBR.
I miss some of the frequent names on 2 peas - all of the boards. When it shut down and I found this place a few hours later, I was glad to see any name from 2 peas, whether I liked them or not on the boards. I even miss Mrs Tyler!
Admittedly I rarely went to the gallery and hated how people posted just to get their post count up because on the old 2 peas, post count was so very important.
Yes, there were wonderful things about it but I like it here too. Maybe because I'm older now. I still like a bit of drama though!

I just enjoyed reading and was happy that I had lots of new material daily.

Remember circle journals? Recipe swaps? I still have mine and use some of the recipes to this day.

I joined in 2009. I had left the old Cricut MB when they started charging a fee to access a Members Only section or whatever it was called. And that's when their CS and product (software) were crap. I found 2Peas because I had switched to digi and bought some "paper packs" in their store. Then I found the SBR message board and the Gallery. I rarely posted because I was afraid (haha) and like marg and LisaDV mentioned the boards moved so fast! On NSBR, I rarely posted except on the Reading thread. But I got hours of entertainment from reading. I had around 900 posts when it closed.

I liked the warehouse walks on the old 2Peas. It was fun to see the new products.

I liked the warehouse walks on the old 2Peas. It was fun to see the new products. I loved the ones where they showed people's orders, they really got me adding things to my shopping basket (not at 2Peas, shops here in the UK lol!) but it was great to see the products.

I loved and still miss Lifetime Moments. I don't remember this one; was it a different older scrapbooking message board? I think I found 2Ps through another scrapping message board; dMarie was the name, I think... does that ring a bell for anyone? and I think there was another one I used to frequent- ScrapJammies, maybe??

It was similar to 2Peas with a store, message board and gallery. I want to say they opened in 2002 and closed up in 2009 or 2010? I found LM through LiveJournal or something like that and heard about 2Peas at LM. I don't know that I am remembering correctly, but there was something between the 2 boards that wasn't discussed and 2peas was referred to as the veggie site. I remember dMarie but I never participated there same with ScrapJammies although I subscribed to their kits for a while.

I loved Lifetime Moments. They were my first go-to site for ordering.
I also loved their scrapfests, although I got into that late in the game and only participated in a few of them before they closed down. It was so motivating. After they closed, I tried doing LOAD from another site, but that didn't inspire me the way the scrapfest challenges did.
I would love to get into the challenges here, but I don't scrap at home due to time issues. I typically only scrap about 3 times a year now when I get to go to weekend retreats.

My recollection: Everyone at 2peas had abandoned ship and went to LM... i forget why...but of course we still had to talk/make fun of/complain about about 2peas so we used code words such as veggie board to be polite to the LM owner. If i remember right the LM owner was an awesome person.

I loved the CK boards...I found 2Peas through CK. I used to be on both boards constantly, but 2peas scared me. This was around 2008.
I'm surprised how much I like it here.

I read Two Peas but rarely posted, and d'Marie was my first exposure to a scrapping message board. It was fun and had occasional bouts of drama too. I particularly remember one of the "popular" board regulars named Pammie. Also went to the CK board.

I miss everything about the pea boards, especially that daily inspiration of a busy scrapbooking board. There hasn't been anything close to it since it's been gone.
I was around since the boards started and remember all the fun & drama & swaps & gallery...ugh i miss it!!!

I loved Lifetime Moments. They were my first go-to site for ordering. And, Jackie let you shop her warehouse in person. The warehouse was about 45 minutes from me, and I would take a road trip monthly. She truly was a lovely person. I hope things are well for her. I think she is a member here. I recognized her full name her once or twice on a post.

I lurked at TwoPeas (I think I had barely 500 posts in 10 years there) but I LOVED Lifetime Moments - Jackie was awesome and everyone there was just so sweet and encouraging. I think the only other scrapbook board I was at (and this would have been eons ago) was the About.com scrapbooking forum - I mostly lurked there too.

I miss 2P's as well. Nicole and her hubby were so sweet. Kindly hosting the boards, maybe we I should have bought more product from them. Glad to have found this site. Thanks everyone.

I work from home part-time, live with all guys, and all of my work friends are still working, so a little drama is always good. I swear, my guys have always been drama free. I rarely posted a 2 Peas because if you said something that didn't go with some of the posters your post count was brought up and you weren't treated very nicely. It seemed very exclusive to me. I really like this site much better. There is drama on the political threads, but I can choose to go there when I am looking for a little spice.
I love this site because someone can bring up something that is just so random and half a dozen other peas have also experienced it and have a possible solution. Plus people post picture of their pets frequently and that is always a winner for me.

I bought a lot from Lifetime Moments. I also liked a store called A Million Little Things. There were a lot of stores that I really liked. Was there also one called Love2Scrapbook or something like that? I bought stuff there, too. I loved and remembered all these stores very fondly!

I think I will forever miss 2peas. The gallery was so beautiful. I also miss people blogging. I spent so many Saturday nights (I am a night owl) reading my favorite blogs. There is one pea whose blog I followed religiously. I enjoyed her posts and the things her family was doing. Then she just stopped. I think she went to facebook. I don't care for facebook.
