For this challenge, you don't need to kill a kit. You just need to use some of the cut offs from one of your last projects on another project. For my sample, I created two half pages that will go into my album back to back. I used some of the many pieces of pp that were left over after cutting the very specific sizes for the iNSD Freaky Fast Formula challenge. Go Carts by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Claiming a point for creating a challenge, one for meeting it, and one for the project itself. Also checking out the A-Z challenge to see which letter applies. Let's see how you put the SCRAP in Scrapbooking!

Great LO grammadee! What you've done really highlights the photos perfectly! And so weird, I literally have my G LO on the go on my desk and I used some scraps that were sitting on my desk on it! Spooky! I'll be claiming a point tomorrow

I love this challenge. Funnily as I was scrapping today I was thinking that it would be fun to do a layout chain challenge very similar to this. The idea would be to use a scrap from your previous layout on your next one, then use a scrap from that challenge on the next one and so on. It would be fun to see how many you could have in your chain.

I created two half pages that will go into my album back to back. Is there a reason you wouldn't just leave those as one layout?

I am claiming a point for this one cause the two stripes at the bottom of my LO, were scraps on my desk! The black & white and the coloured stripes both were offcuts that are papers I like too much and don't want to throw away I'm only claiming 1 point cause this is my G LO and I've already posted it over on my A-Z thread.

I created two half pages that will go into my album back to back. Is there a reason you wouldn't just leave those as one layout? I scrap in sets of facing pages, basically two-page LO's. I didn't have enough good photos (or really enough of a story--this was ONE activity in a busy afternoon) to do two pages here, and had actually used some embellishments to go with go carting on the facing pages I DID do on bumper cars. So I will cut down a page protector with my Fuse tool, and insert these two halves in between the full pages, and it will still all flow. And using scraps from the full pages make these inserts fit right in. kiwigirl , I love that you used those pretty scraps on another page. No one could discard those pretty colours and patterns! DawnMcD, that sounds like a fun challenge. You should totally throw that one down in June!

Great pages, stinkerbelle. Thanks for playing! Love how the two pages with the same papers look so different with the black vs the white backgrounds. AND that you could use the same papers for such different stories!

I thought I would have more for this one that I could claim points for cause I use scraps a lot. I keep offcuts that I like on my desk beside my craft mat so I do use them but I had a good look at all my May LO's, and the one above is the only one so far! I am sure I will have more soon

I used lots of scraps on these two pages. I grabbed pieces of cs lying around to cut out the "Sweet" for the first page and the big leaf and the tree for the second, as well as the backing for a couple of circles. On the second page, the strips are cut from the cover page in the collection, so really using up all the little pieces! maple syrup by Gramma Dee, on Flickr maple syrup 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Also claiming both these for A-Z and Word Up. The second will be claimed for Strip the sheets.

I used scraps of paper on this one, and also a whole load of little bits & bibs that were on my desk so they weren't scraps, but definitely taking up space on my desk kind of things!

I used one 12x 3.5" scrap for TWO 8x8 pages...took some stretching to make it work....did a narrow strip across the width of one page and a wide strip across the bottom of the other AND matted the journalling.

I used scraps to mat my photo block. It turns out I don't have a lot of whole sheets of baby paper anymore especially in pink. The scraps were left over from a 6x8 pocket album I put together for a friend. Bath Time by Jacqueline Bruce, on Flickr
