On the first really nice spring day on the farm as a kid, I remember my mom saying "Strip the sheets! It's spring!" Laundry was a big deal with having to haul the water and heat it, but I remember stripping the beds and then after the sheets had gone through the washer, rinse tub, and wringer, they were hung out on the line in the sunshine and wind for the day. I also remember the delicious smell of those crisp clean sheets when they went back onto the beds... Anyway, I digress. I was looking for ideas to scrap a couple of little boy pages, and found the one attached below as part of my search. Source says it's from the Echo Park blog. My challenge to you is to "Strip the Sheets!" ie, cut the pp sheets into strips (or use sticker border strips) for your page. Of course you can add anything else you like on your page, but to meet this challenge you should have at least THREE different paper strips (could be A and B side of the same paper) Bonus point if you can include a photo strip!
And here is my sample, courtesy of Google and Echo Park:

Would love to see your page, mikklynn. Of course my rendition of this is nowhere near that neat and tidy. But I DID use pp strips. And some were cut from brand new sheets of paper. The others were scraps from an earlier project, so I can claim this for that challenge, too. Me & my Brothers 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

And here is my sample, courtesy of Google and Echo Park: I am in love with that sample. I love the 'You Rock' thing because he's sitting on a rock. I'm concrete like that! I am all about strips of patterned paper. Almost everything I do has strips of pattered paper. Having 3 makes it a challenge though.

I LOVE this background paper. I think this LO got away from me, though. It seems a little...busy.

I LOVE this background paper. I think this LO got away from me, though. It seems a little...busy. That background pp is really pretty. Because it is also so busy, I think you did a great job of using the paper strips to separate the photo block from it. Love the happy vibe of your page. Thanks for playing!
