We are remodeling a couple of rooms. I'd like to get nicer switch plates. Where do you purchase yours from? I really don't want to mess with wooden ones and stain. I just want easy peasy! I want to purchase, install and be done.

Lowe's or Home Depot have a decent selection.

What kind are you looking for? I just took down an entire house worth of Allen and Roth brushed nickel switch plates. They're super nice but more of a traditional look. I'm switching everything at waist level and higher to the Decora screwless white plates, which I think is a modern clean look. I'm keeping the outlets lower to the ground just plain white with normal screws. I couldn't stomach the price to put screwless on all of those.
We're also swapping out all the outlets and switches themselves. There's a mishmash of lots of almond, plus some aged white ones. Plastic just ages, you know? We have over 110 outlets & switches to change... ahhh!! For the outlets in going with the ones that are a single rectangular face instead of two separate holes. Again, to me it looks cleaner. We're also taking this opportunity to put in some specialty switches - one with a night light in the water closet and an outlet with a night light in the kitchen, a wifi switch to program our outside lights, dimmers, etc.
All of mine came from Home Depot, so not very helpful, but maybe googling Allen & Roth brand will point you to some sites to look for what you want.

Thanks ladies!
I'll look online. I've never heard of or seen the screw less ones. That sounds interesting.

We replaced most of the switches in this house when we moved in a few years ago because some of them had turned cream colored. It looks funny when you have a row of 5 switches and only a couple are cream. Now some of them are turning cream again. So frustrating! Wish I had changed them all to cream! Anyone know what causes this? We have the see-saw flip kind, not the typical kind you have to push up. You can use an elbow if your hands are full which is convenient. We had cream push up and down ones in the old house and they never changed color. Not sure if it is the white color or the type of switch that is the problem. The plates around the switches and outlets are fine.
