I’ve been dealing with this since mid-December. Thought it was finally gone two weeks ago only to have it back. I take sudafed, musinex, Flonase generic (covered by insurance), and Zyrtec. I use the benzonate pills too though it doesn’t always work.
Perhaps I should do the Neti pot.

Thank you all!! I’m going to try everything/anything I can—the cough is so annoying and I end up laying awake with it plus headache and wake everyone else up. I wish it would rain hard again here to wash the outside pollen down more, it helped the other day. This year it must be really bad, I’ve never had allergy symptoms this badly. Another thing that helps my sinus headaches is some heat. I made my own little cotton flax seed filled bag that I heat in the microwave and lie down with it on my forehead right after I take two sudafed and a couple of Advil. Then I do the sinus irrigation. Good luck!

I don't want to be debbie downer, but go to the Dr.
I have light allergies also, more so in fall, and late last fall I had that same cough that wouldn't quit.
And when I had my heart attack in January, and told my Dr. that I had no symptoms leading up to it, except for the cough and tiredness (I work retail so Christmas, etc..) He responded "Those were the symptoms!"
So to be safe, get checked out, and he can prescribe what is best for you. And I say that as someone, who only saw a Dr. one time a year for a physical for 20 years, and now have to see 4 Drs. each month!
