Harry and Meghan’s big day has arrived! It’s a lovely, sunny day in Windsor and looks like the weather is going to be perfect. It’s not long gone 7.30 am and Breakfast TV is trying to show normal Saturday features but every other item seems to be presented from Windsor. Our official BBC coverage starts at 9 am, with Meghan due to arrive at the Chapel at noon. Here’s to a wonderful day and a very happy future for the couple.

I have to work today but I can have my laptop with so I’m hoping I won’t miss much! It was nice to see Harry and William out greeting people in Windsor yesterday afternoon - he looked more chilled than William

The couple are to be known as The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The Telegraph had a good post explaining the differences between various titles and how the holders should be addressed but I can’t get a link to it. Can any other Pea? Hope you manage to catch the best bits of the day gar I’m working but not till 8 pm. I’ll be all wedding’ed out by then.

This nugget of info amused me, as we know Harry's offical name is Henry but it appears Meghan's first name is Rachel. So we might not hear the names we expect to hear when the ceremony reaches that "Do you__________ take ________? moment.

Love our history. The title was first used in 1801 and has only been used once by Prince Augustus Frederick, one of the sons of King George 111. Duke of Sussex Don't intend doing much today except watching the television. Hope you all have a lovely day, sorry you have to work gar . To our friends across the pond I hope you'll post many pictures of these lovely "tea" celebrations you'll be having and in particular your tiaras and fascinator/hats.

It's 1:00am here. I briefly thought about staying up to watch it, but don't think I can do it. We are DVR'ing it though, so we'll watch it as soon as we get up.

I’m watching already but need to leave for my holidays today. Hopefully I’ll manage to watch them leave the church before my partner drags me away!

I've just realised I don't know where to watch from. I'll have to google and see if I can stream from somewhere.
We only have the wedding on the pay TV and I don't have that.
I have 2 children living in Surrey and yes it is beautiful. I wish I could visit again.

Is BBC America blacked out?
I drag myself out of bed and I am stuck with CNN. At least, it’s Anderson Cooper. Hope they avoid the uninvited-but-showed-up-anyway-even-though-they-haven’t-seen-the-bride-in-20-years ‘family.’

I’m not sure if I want to watch or not. I was married 28 years ago today, so I’ve been feeling a bit melancholy since I woke up. We almost made it to 25 years before breaking up. And this day in 1990 was also beautiful, warm and sunny. It makes me so sad that everyone from my family who was there is either dead, or I’m estranged from them. Anyway, sorry for the downer. Go carry on celebrating!

So we might not hear the names we expect to hear when the ceremony reaches that "Do you__________ take ________? moment. The order of service introduces them by their full names ("We're gathered here for the wedding of Henry 3 middle names and Rachel Meghan") but in all the words spoken between the two of them, it's printed as "Harry" and "Meghan."
