nicolep Thank you for posting. The very first collection reminds me a lot of Brandi Kincaid's style.

The very first collection reminds me a lot of Brandi Kincaid's style. Muahaha, I was just going to write that it looks like budget Brandi. Nothing for me in these lines. But I am going to give the double thumbs up to the T-Rex skeleton which appears to be dancing. Shake it, bone daddy!

I like Stuck on You, and I would buy a 6x6, but there isn't one.

Are cacti the new llamas? I don't have much use for them up here in Minnesota!
The Jurassic line would be cute if I had a little boy around.

Interesting! Their collections seem to be very specific and geared to target audiences, for sure. Cute stuff, but not my cup of tea.

Stuck on you doesn't have the traditional feel of Photo Play in it, but I like it.
I am still irked by the lack of gender neutrality and stereotyping that every kid themed line seems to have but at least the Jurassic line doesn't have 'boy' spelled out anywhere on it.

I wish they would make a dinosaur collection that wasn't childish.

I wish they would make a dinosaur collection that wasn't childish. Have you looked up any of the older My Mind's Eye stuff? Like 2010-2013? It has some childish elements (particularly the landscapes) but it's grungy enough that I feel like parts of it can be used for things other than little kids.

Yes, I had that collection, or parts of it. Still would like something more adult or with realistic fossil images on it. Jurassic Park/World just needs to come out with a collection, dangit.

Yeah, most things still seem to be geared toward kids unless it's specific themes that are trendy with adults (food, succulents and travel for example). As a last resort you could probably find some decent silhouette fossil stamps and make your own papers (ever since the Safari Hero Arts MMH kit, it's one of the first things that comes to mind because it just felt like that kit was made for DIY paper/PL cards). Now that would be an awesome theme for a kit, wouldn't it?

When I opened this thread I was hoping for a more "mature" Jurassic collection. We go to Universal a lot and I have a few pics from there I want to scrap, but this line is too juvenile. It's cute, but not what I was hoping for. Stuck On You is nice! I like the colors.

They left the "s" off of Triceratops and it looks like the first "o" was left out of pteranodon too. Young dinosaur obsessed folks will not stand for that!

Stuck on You - Having the antithesis of a "green thumb," I cannot use the theme. However, I like both striped papers.
Jurassic - While I appreciate the bright/primary/secondary color palette & the diagonal striped paper, I have no use for the theme.
As always, TFS!

I like the Dino collection. I like the colors on both, but have zero use for the cactus papers.

Are cacti the new llamas? I don't have much use for them up here in Minnesota! The Jurassic line would be cute if I had a little boy around. I have about nine years of pictures of little boys that I can send you!

But, my grandson is almost 10 (sob!).

I love that Jurassic has lots of blues and bright colors and isn’t the typical green/brown/grungy dinosaur line. I also think it’s about time for a line like this to not mention “boy” or “brother” anywhere! It’s great for boys and girls alike (girls don’t all have to have pink on every LO!) I don’t mind that it’s a bit juvenile, but the misspellings do bother me. I can live without the “s” at the end of triceratops, but the missing “o” in pteranodon seems to have ended up in gigantosaurus (after the “n”).

i live in the desert, could legitimately use a lot of cacti and generally like that motif...but that line isn't doing it for me. i think the dino one is cute, but my boy got over his dino obsession about 18 yrs ago

I won’t be buying either collection since I don’t have kids to scrap but that dinosaur collection is pretty cute.
