if you have bought any sticker sheets or ephemera packs in the past few years, you're probably like me: inundated with random icons you have no idea how to use! well now is the time to pull those suckers out and get them onto some sort of crafty project! flamingos, pineapples, llamas, bicycles, cacti and succulents, owls, deer heads; you name it, it counts for this challenge  tagging grammadee |

I keep looking at the vellum giraffe in the Maggie Holmes confetti line and thinking, where on earth am I going to use that? Often I do just chuck things on a page because I like them, like llamas or unicorns. I don't have kids so I have little chance to use a lot of things so I do think hey, just use it. Like my fancy clothes that I never get to wear because we live in the country and there's nowhere nice to go around here - I just wear them to Aldi hahahaha!
I am going to whack that giraffe on something this month! #bungagiraffeonit

Fun challenge. I have not purchased many papers with pineapples or flamingos or cacti, but I have lots of woodland animals which I think are so cute but never use on my pages. Looking for ideas? Check out LisaDV's thread on using different motifs HERE |

Oh I totally love giraffes too, I was obsessed with April last year and was lucky enough to be online when she did give birth lol! Maybe I should scrap that? |

kiwigirl I love that big pink giraffe too. I finally used it last month on a layout of my son and friends hanging out downtown one night. It was the perfect touch.

More short and fat dammit! I am going to get that giraffe today and I'm gonna bung it on a LO! ETA: It's stuck down!!!! I don't know where I'm going with the LO but it's stuck down now lol! |

I don't think I have any giraffe stickers, but my 4 year old sticks his tongue out and it reminds me of a giraffe tongue for some reason. Future page idea if I acquire any giraffe icons...

I did it lol! I just grabbed a photo and went. I also bunged some balloons on too, cause you know, why not? My journalling says something like "new, fresh hair by Phee, it's always a good day!". I'm also going to claim points for the hoarding challenge & Nuvos (of course).  |

Love the whole idea of this LO, thracian! This is a great way to capture the here & now. Love how you used the pattern on the paper for your journaling. And the random icons go wonderfully with the random sayings! |

I realised that I did a Florida LO and I didn't put a flamingo on it. I am embarrassed. I should probably be kicked off this board. I'm going to look for one.... I'm going in to the Amy Tangerine box! I may have to add a flamingo to my beach LO. I mean seriously, what was I thinking? Florida, beach LO, need a flamingo.
Or a tiger. Or a cactus?

I LOVE the LOs on this thread! kiwigirl - I don't even know where to praise the LO, I love them both so much. The first is so well balanced and pleasing with the elements clustered off centre like that but the border around it. I'm lifting this one. The 2nd is so gorgeous with all that colour! DawnMcD - the colours and the softness and the clustering and the paper clip! It's really perfect. woodysbetty omg, the faces, the story, the title! I laughed! thracian - the work you did to spread the "journaling" around the page, I love LOs like this, they are so much fun to go back and back to. You did a great job keeping the photo as a focal point. msliz - I adore the blocks of colour that pull your eye through the 2 pages, makes it feel the same yet dynamic, and love the use of toucans!!! |

myboysnme what a great LO! I love the pictures, love the whole LO, it's just wonderful! Your LO is gorgeous too KikiPea, love that background paper, so eyecatching and your layering and embellishing is superb! Love those papers grammadee, so cheerful and the arrows are lush! I do love an arrow I do! justjac I think I've commented on this somewhere else but I love it, absolutely wonderful LO! OMG stinkerbelle so cool! Love the colours, love the llama and of course I love the stripey paper hahaha, it's all so lush!!!
