Spring and summer is when construction projects around here head into high gear. To earn a point include wood or metal items on your layout or card.

Do eyelets and brads count as metal? Sounds like metal to me, and brad heads look like nail heads, so...

woodysbetty great LO! I love all the embellishments, they're perfect and it's a fab photo too! I used the aqua metal arrow paperclip on this LO and seriously, that thing has been in a bits * bobs box on my desk for years!!! So I'm so glad I used it. This was done for the hoarding challenge.

Here is my take...lots of wood veneer pieces!! Love this page! Great use of the muted colours. Gives the whole page a nostalgic look. Is this your title page for your Netherlands vacation album?

Thanks - LisaDV and kiwigirl appreciate the love!! grammadee, I also appreciate your lovely comments and yes it will be the first page of our Netherlands trip. I don't make separate albums for our travels, I use a different color album for all travel related pages and just put them together. Sometimes a trip has an entire album...sometimes 2 or 3 trips fit in one...saves space. I use Cinnamon brown for everyday scrapping and navy blue for travel...that seems to work for us...

Used some metal flowers, leaves, & brads on this page. And the title letters are diecut from a wood veneer envelope justjac found for me a couple of years ago. You will get sick of seeing this page, cuz it meets quite a few challenges. Sunday Ride two by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

On my dog layout I used staples and eyelets. It has been so long since I used eyelets. It was fun to pull them out.

I found this wooden paper clip in some embellies this morning and put it on this page to fit the challenge. Only 1 pt because I posted it on the sun challenge sans wooden clip

I used a wood veneer word! It feels like a miracle. Do you know how long they've been sitting in my stash?

Wood on page one, and metal on both pages of "Hoops in the Sunshine" today. I shared these pages in the Gallery, in the Stamp It challenge, and in the June Team thread.
