I’m officially unemployed due to medical reasons. I’m beside myself now. I’m glad I missed the hsn show. No Money spent there. ( I hate autocorrect sometimes).

I’m really sorry. There are a lot of great June challenges that you can try to do. Also, have you thought about finding a job that you can do from home?

All my projects will have to be without photos. No nonessential buying.

I messed up my back. I was a home care nurse but not anymore. I can’t get up and down like I need to be able to do the work.

I messed up my back. I was a home care nurse but not anymore. I can’t get up and down like I need to be able to do the work. That’s rough. I used to work in a rehab hospital and our nurses did a job on their bodies having to lift and move patients. My MIL did home care nursing into her 60s. I don’t know how she survived that long.

I’m sorry to hear that. Is it just due to the physical labor? I work in healthcare and there are a lot of positions for nurses that don’t involve patient care. I agree with the others. It’s a good time to shop your stash. I remember your, posting that your just got some nice dies and stamps. If you don’t have pictures you can still tell your stories or do some cardmaking.

That's too bad. You have had a rough year! Do you have some kind of short or long term sick leave insurance?
I know it is hard to get in the mood to scrap when you are dealing with so many changes, but the good news is that you do have that bright happy craft room to hang out in. Can you plan pages around photos you will print later and use your stash to create them?

Im sorry! That really sucks! Can you use your new found time to make cards? Or other projects that don't require photos?

I am not connected to the health field. That is the one field of work I was not cut out for.
A couple of possibilities might be a school nurse or a nurse in a doctor's office. They probably wouldn't do a lot of heavy lifting.
If you happen to live in Missouri, this website shows a few openings for a school nurse. I searched for "school nurse" in their search box.
My guess is that you probably won't be doing too much crafting until you find another job. That would be me anyway.

You have a ton of sympathy from me! Take care of yourself, and yeah, it's hard to have restraint financially especially when you could use some "retail therapy" for your spirits!!!
I was off work for 1 week in May - my first ever - and it was disorienting. I couldn't enjoy myself or be productive at home because I couldn't walk or sit for any length of time. I didn't feel "sick" but in no way could I be at my job (which is active). I felt guilty for not being at work. But I very much appreciated getting better! Hope things go better for you!

I'm so sorry.
Maybe this would be a good time to use your stash to make projects that don't require photos, and perhaps learn new papercrafting techniques? There are lots of free patterns online, such as the Nicole Heady birdhouse. Or you could make a fun mini album that is just pretty, no pictures required, or that you can add photos to later.

I'm so sorry. That stinks, big time! I hope you can find a less taxing nursing job. Or maybe delve into a new area of interest.
Hugs.

hugs - I've been through spending freezes at various points too, and it sucks big time. But I have no doubt you'll find ways to be creative with what you already own. I love seeing your gorgeous cards
