Has anyone used legacybox to digitize old film, slides and/or photos? I have all my grandparents stuff and need to get it done. And with 4 kids 7 and under home for the summer I didn't have the mental bandwidth to do it myself.

I bought a Groupon for legacy box last year and was extremely disappointed. The resolution was so low I couldn’t reprint the pictures. Some of the were less than 175 kb. It was a huge waste of time getting my order together, they mixed up all the pictures so I had to figure out the correct order when I got them back plus it was a waste of money since I couldn’t do anything with the scans I received.

I use a guy in Philadelphia named Steven Szabo. He charges about $10 per tape and gives you 3 DVDs. Slides - my friend had him do a bunch for her. He didn't edit them at all. I guess he could if you want to pay extra for it, but maybe just edit them yourself after they get transferred.
His email is masterszabo@msn.com. I've had him transfer in like 10 tape increments over the past 2 years or so. Got my last batch in Dec.

Well that stinks! Thank you for the review.
