The bottoms of my big toes get scraped up and cracked from the pool we frequent. My feet are very calloused from running and I don't mind it because it prevents rubbing/blisters, but I don't know what to do about my toes.
You can't wear shoes in the pool - any ideas how I can protect my toes? Is there anything that will heel the cracks quickly? Thanks!

How about wearing neoprene socks like surfers wear? Surfer Socks at Amazon
The pool chews up the bottoms of my feet too, so I wear water shoes in our pool, but it sounds like that isn't an option. Maybe your pool would allow socks.

Could you wear water shoes? My feet are a mess to begin with. I have to put Flexitol on with socks at night and when I get up. I can take the socks off after a bit. I found that if I don't do this every day, my feet get really dry again. I think almost any lotion is good. I often alternate with aquaphor/Vaseline. As long as I have something on, it helps.

I have recommended this in the past--my dad used to used Bag Balm on his cracked anc chapped hands and felt it would cure just about anything.
We did have a couple of goats and they had their own Bag Balm as well. And yes, it is exactly for what you think it is: keepimg the teats supple.

You can wear pool shoes in the pool. But this happens to all my kids the first couple weeks of pool time. Then their feet get used to it. Has it been more than a couple weeks and it's still happening?

I second the bag balm lotion.
And I'm sorry your toes are hurting. Hope they heal quickly.

That sometimes happens to my big toes as well. It can be pretty painful. I agree with posts recommending Vaseline or Bag Balm until you get used to it.

Is "no shoes in the pool" a pool rule? Otherwise, I would be sporting my water shoes. I ruined more than one pedicure in the pool before I started wearing water shoes.

Has it been more than a couple weeks and it's still happening? No, we just started going to the pool this summer, so we've only been a couple of times. Thanks for all your suggestions. I'll have to double-check about pool shoes/socks, but maybe that's the way to go, if possible. I'll definitely get some Bag Balm tonight. Thanks!!! Amy

Pools chew up the bottom of my feet, too. Water socks aren't an option?
I find that using a Pedi-Egg and then putting a thick lotion on helps. A lot.

Another vote for Bag Balm and soft socks at night.
