First Concert - Rick Springfield Favorite Concert - first time I saw James Taylor, I've been to three of his concerts Concerts I attended while pregnant - James Taylor and Alan Jackson Concert that seems strange that I attended - George Thorogood Most Recent Concert - Ed Sheeran, James Blunt opened for him and my favorite part of the whole night was listening to him sing "You're Beautiful." Next Concert - The Avett Brothers in October Wish I could have seen - John Denver Want to see - Harry Connick Jr.
Most appreciated/Needed - The day I drove home after my mom died, I was a mess. That night I sat down on the couch and turned on the tv and an ad came on for a concert that would be held later in the summer at a casino about 45 minutes away from my cabin. The Goo Goo Dolls were the headliners with The Plain White Tees and Daughtry opening for them. I picked up my computer and started booking tickets before the ad had even ended while telling my husband that I had to have something good to look forward to. The concert was outdoors and it was a perfect summer evening. For about four hours I was completely happy and enjoying life again. I will always be a huge Goo Goo Dolls fan because they lifted me up when I really needed it. The Plain White Tees sound exactly like they sound on the radio - completely adorable band. Daughtry was just ok for me.

We go to small-ish venues for concerts in Sacramento and San Francisco all the time. The best have probably been Dropkick Murphys at the Warfield in SF and Streetlight Manifesto at Ace of Spades in Sac.

First Concert - Van Halen (David Lee Roth) Favorite Concert - Dave Matthews Band Concert that seems strange that I attended - Panic! At The Disco (weird cuz I love them, but I was too old to be there) Most Recent Concert - Panic! At The Disco Next Concert - I'm feeling too old. I'll be 50 in a few months but with both knees and a hip replacement I can't stand through a whole concert. I pay good money for a seat, but you don't sit at concerts. I never thought of myself as a huge concert-goer, but my husband and I have been to quite a few - Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Panic! At The Disco, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, John Mayer with at the time an unknown opening band being Maroon 5, and Jerry Seinfeld.

What was your favorite concert? Cold Chisel - The Last Stand concert in 1983 as a 16yo. It was the greatest night of my life!
Who was your first concert? Glen Campbell in about 1974 - my parents took me (I was 7 years old). Favorite concert attended with someone? Cold Chisel (see #1). I went with 3 friends. We were seated way up the back in the top row and when our favourite song came on we ran down the stairs and through the doors past security and ended up right in the mosh pit. We could reach out our hands and touch them on stage. And when Jimmy jumped off the stage into the crowd, he landed right near us. My friend was dragged off him by the bouncers. She was so proud of those bruises on her arms! Who you would have love to seen? The Beatles, Elvis Presley, The Mamas & The Papas, Janis Joplin, Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Powderfinger.
Who you still want to see? In the past few years I have seen several of my favourite Aussie rock bands from the 80's in reunion shows. I would love to see them all again: Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Hunters & Collectors, Weddings Parties Anything, Paul Kelly and many more. As for who I want to see that I haven't already seen....... Mumford & Sons. I missed seeing them a few years ago because I blew up my car engine the day before the tickets went on sale and couldn't afford to go knowing that I was going to have to fork out several thousands on car repairs.Who you would have love to seen? INXS with Michael Hutchence
I saw INXS a couple of times. I was at a concert last Saturday night and it was at the same place where I saw INXS about 35 years ago (!!!) back in '82 or '83. My Aunty worked for a radio station at the time and I went with her to help set up the venue. We had to put up posters and stick flyers underneath the seats. Then I just hung around watching them perform. It was very cool!

First indoor concert was U2 in a small venue. I've seen them three times and I'm not really a fan, then boyfriend was.
First outdoor concert was Queen. Then boyfriend won tickets to two different concerts, Queen and Simple Minds.
Have attended two concerts in the last six months with DD, her first indoor concert, a mix of various singers like Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Craig David etc. It was great, she loved it.
and her first outdoor concert, Ed Sheeran, again it was great. I love that I got to experience them with her.

The venue was a last minute change (from Lyon) and completely standing room only. We managed to make it pretty close to the front, but were blocked by a wall of very big guys. I tapped their shoulders until I finally got one to understand that our 5'2" bodies could stand in front of them without blocking their view and all of a sudden we were in front of them and protected from the crowd.. We had a great night. Who you would have love to seen: The Eagles a girlfriend saw them in Vegas before Glenn Frey died. I'm forever jealous. Who you still want to see: Elton John DH has seen him twice and I tried to make it happen in Vegas a couple of years ago. Still working on it.

Favorite concert-several times Paul McCartney (btw did you see him on Carpool Karoke-it’s great) First concert-1971- Rare Earth, Bloodrock, Crystal Mansion - not my style but I won the tix. Favorite concert attended with someone-Mothers Day May 14, 1972- John Sebastian-he was with the Lovin’ Spoonful and I was in love with him—so cute! The cool thing is I went with my best friend who was “in love” with Stephen Stills. We saw him on May 12 so it was really one of my best weekends ever. Oh and John Sebastian “looked at me” so I’m sure he was in love with me also! Who do I want to see-I have tix for Springsteen on Broadway (first saw him in 1974–also with John Sebastian); also have tix for Elton John and Rod Stewart. Coolest concert thing—back in 1998 our newspaper did an article about some kindergarteners and what the wanted to be when they grew up. My son said he wanted to be in The Beach Boys and sing Kokomo. We won meet and greet tix to The Beach Boys in 2000 and showed them the article. My son “sang” Kokomo for them and we took pics. Then in 2012 we saw them and got to talk to them. My daughter showed Mike Love the pic on her phone and he said is that you, lets get another!! So here are pics of my kids with Mike Love from 2000 and 2012.
