I noticed another free shipping code for scrapbook.com and I had some stuff in the cart, but not enough to get free shipping yet so it is just sitting there. My son drove 12 hours to Boston for a Red Sox game and drove back same night (he's young and insane) but sent me about 20 pictures of his trip to scrap. I also saw the first ultra sound photos of my first grandbaby and am totally ready to scrap baby stuff! They will find out sex in a few weeks and then I will really go nuts just in time for CKC I hope! A crop friend organized a 12 hour crop for 4th of July so I got an extra little cropportunity for July to make up for what I will miss when I go to CKC. We don't crop at CKC like we do at Expo. Are you going to do a Red Sox layout? If so I think I have a duplicate of something to send you!

Are you going to do a Red Sox layout Yes I am! He sent me about 10 photos of the stadium and game and some of a side trip to Harvard.

myboysnme can send you this? I have two of them. 😊 ETA: The adhesive on these is shot...I’ve had them for about 8 or 9 years, I think.

I hear you on a lot not jumping out at me. I'm content right now with picking up a few pieces here and there at Tuesday Morning. There are some things that I hope show up, but if they don't then I hope we can afford a splurge trip to the AC Warehouse Sale if/when it opens up in November. I am finally catching up on photo printing again. I love that costco has a fixed price for pictures ordered for ship to home instead of warehouse pick up. My warehouse is so awful that I've been having them shipped to me for the past few years. I used to have to buy at least 100 at a time in order to get the 3 cents per print savings. When that is 4+ months of pictures with 2 folders (big camera and cell phone) it would take me an hour or longer just to sort them. Between them being split into multiple envelopes, the stacks were divided in random order so a grouping would be in order, but it would be incomplete and the rest were in 1 or 2 other envelopes. Now I can order 1 month at a time and only have to split the 2 folders. Just ordered 2 months and the total cost is about half of what I would have paid before the price change. I have to finish the second half of May's editing and then I'll only have this month to do (which I can't complete until the month is over anyway). I'm also going to participate in the Inkie Quill livestream tomorrow. I couldn't participate the first time (I watched some) because my Mom flew into town not long after it started and with my wonky summer sleeping schedule, no way could I wake up at 4am to participate in the last 2. Instead of streaming on my computer, I'm going to screen mirror my phone onto the big screen and set myself up a temporary work area in our loft. My tablet should allow me to chat since I won't be able to do that on my phone or TV. I'm really excited about it. I haven't scrapbooked much since the Expo in April so I need this stream to help with the mojo! Other than a few photo heavy events like holidays, birthdays and a pre-k graduation I have succeeded in my plan this year in reducing the number of pictures I print off. I'm used to 60-100 per month (factoring in collages that get cut down as 1 picture) and I'm down to 30-40. I am a really slow scrapbooker, so every week being 4-6 PL pages was never going to allow me to catch up. So far this year, most of my spreads are 2 pages (maybe with an insert) for a 2 weeks time frame. When I can find the mojo to work on it, I should be able to speed through the catch up. Motivation for printing photos is being able to start using my lovely Ali STBM kits! So much rambling, I know...so you get a digital cookie if you read all that.

I'm bummed. The crop that lakritze and I were going to tomorrow was cancelled due to repairs being made at the location. And I just finished bringing my bags down 2 flights of stairs.

That's rotten luck msliz! Packing for a crop is hard enough. Packing for a not-crop is worse!

I know an SU demo who often holds classes at a Starbucks. Could you two hole up somewhere that doesn't mind leisurely patrons and have your own little crop?

Still recuperating from my scrap retreat last weekend. This was the first time I had made up page kits. I'm a bit disappointed. I completed 20 8.5x11 layouts -- about the same as when I don't pre-plan anything. The embellishing still ate up a good chunk of my time. I also found that some of my page kits just did not work. I do not know what I was thinking when I pulled papers for some of the layouts. Then there was one page kit that I didn't have any photos with. I still have at least 20-25 page kits remaining. Hopefully I'll have better luck with my layouts at the October retreat. My first few times with kits were more of a learning experience. I realized I needed to make titles and bring an extra few inches of paper for my lack of fore site. I now bring sticky notes and put notes on what I need to add to the layouts when I get home. It makes completing them pretty quick.

We all understand @charliegirl, I'm sure we've all been there. I think you need to cruise on Pinterest, find a LO you and lift it. Pick the first photo you see and just start there. Once you've broken the seal, hopefully you'll be off and running! Thanks for the words of encouragement! This is exactly what I'm going to try and do tomorrow.

It's a nice idea, but as soon as my family learned of the cancellation, they each claimed a bit of my day, hahaha. Hopefully we'll both be able to make the August reschedule date. They really held a class at a Starbucks? Smart, but so hard for me to imagine. The few closest to me seem like they're always hopping. kiwikate, that room looks beautiful. Do you already have the pretty white furniture? (my furniture is such a mish-mosh. It's not stylish enough for me to call "eclectic." It's just a mess of old stuff that I've rejected from other rooms. ) Have fun organizing your stuff today!

But I do have a great corner, and I am slowly collecting the furniture to match. I have the Alex trolley and Raskog cart and love them so much! Organising IS fun, lol. SaveSave

I will join in tonight. I have this big new wonderful craft studio to scrapbook in, when I used to have no where to scrap and I just can't seem to settle in and get to work. I'm feeling completely overwhelmed because I have not printed pictures in over a year and a half. I'm the type of person that prints all her pics and has them on hand organized in those iris photo containers labeled and ready to go. Everytime I start to sit and get my butt to getting an order ready to be uploaded to print, I get so overwhelmed. And then when I tell myself to just sit and scrap I get overwhelmed with what to scrap. I feel like I have so many important events to do and just can't focus on one. I feel like I am all over the place and just can't focus. But the last year of my life has been very unsettling, and lots of change and trials have occurred. And some are ongoing. So I think a lot of that is affecting my ability to scrap. Sigh, I remember the days when I would say to myself, I would just get so much scrapping done if I just had a space of my own!! 😂 maybe you are stressed at the upcoming project . can you find some photos you do want to scrap right away?

I got a new cell phone and it's still a learning curve. Once AGAIN I couldn't figure out how to load my ATG gun, so I searched for a youtube video. I was frustrated I couldn't get the video to play in a horizontal format because the vertical format was really small. I started pushing a bunch of buttons out of frustration and the video started playing on our smart TV. My husband was very confused (I was upstairs).
My daughter recognized right away it was me and thought it was hilarious knowing I didn't mean to broadcast what I was watching.

Late last night I worked on a random school photo of my nephew from 2014. It was a 2x3" pic. I may or may not be finished the layout. Not sure yet. It was a grab and go layout. Used a couple patterns from a paper pad, a journal spot, and Nuvo drops to accent.
I just wanted to take care of a pic that I've had for years and has just been floating around my desk.

I went to a three day crop and finished 2001. Woot. I know have 2002-June of 2008 to finish. I have several hundred completed layouts that just need to have pictures matched to them.

You can just hop on and off the car and the AC stays running so it's nice and cool when you get back in! That's if he stays in the car like my hubby does when he takes me. I personally think the best Tuesday morning in Tucson is the River location. Let me know what ya think! Edited to add: oh yeah, and Happy Birthday!!!!

I'm happy to report back after a couple of glasses of wine I got pictures uploaded and ordered a few months worth. I placed orders through amazon and snapfish(which I heard are the same printers) so we shall see how they turn out! I'm also happy to report I finished up a page that had been sitting for months and started and completed another! Maybe a glass of wine is the key!!😁

so...DD11's room is just about finished - just waiting for the bean bag chair (empty) to arrive tomorrow so we can fill it with stuffed animals. That means that my family room is just about emptied out of her stuff and I'll be able to scrap again!!!
