The dgk's were playing tag in the yard this weekend, and I suddenly thought I haven't played scrapbook tag for awhile.
This is how it works:
Someone is IT. Right now that is me.
The person who is IT will TAG someone. What that means is IT will select some creation done by another Pea. Tell us whom you are tagging and what you will be lifting in this thread.
IT will share that creation, and declare his/her intention to LIFT that creation. No need to lift it immediately for the game to proceed. BUT, at some time during the month, that creation should be lifted and the lift shared in this thread. Please also electronically tag the person, AND please PM them as well to let them know they are now IT.
The person you tagged is now IT. And the game continues!
Oh yeah, and NO TAGGING THE TAGGER! You can tag someone who has played earlier in this month's game, but not the person who tagged you.
Regular Team points apply, so once you create your lift, feel free to share it and claim any points it has earned in the July Team share thread. But you don't have to be on a team to play.
And the first rule is the same for my dgk's games: Have FUN!!!

I finally finished my scraplift of Chinagirl828 's lush LO! I really struggled with this one, I've been pfaffing with it for ages. I couldn't find anything I wanted to use and in the end I just stuck it down and called it done! I don't think I've done Chinagirl828 justice at all, her LO is dreamy and beautiful and lush and mine..... isn't!  |

I love it kiwigirl - those pinks! Yes, it is a completely different feel than the original, but it's still a very successful layout. Details like the lettering on the photo, and the layers of floral and dot paper, and that cute lizard, are what really makes it special for me. And, of course, the gorgeous photo too  I have a 5x7 landscape oriented photo that I'd like to use for a similar page, but mine will be completely different too because it's a group shot of 6 people. Next month, hopefully. |

kiwigirl your page is gorgeous!!! I love the colours - that pink in the clouds and the giant alpha is beautiful and I really like the little pops of black. Yes, it has a totally different feel to mine, but it's still stunning.

kitbop , I can't wait to see how you lift that one! It was a fun layout! I just sent you the list of July challenges. So.......I'm IT, huh? I think I'm going to tag KelleeM who made this awesome layout...  I love how she used two primary colored cardstock and merged them together with washi tape! KelleeM, you're IT!

Ok I've finally got my lift of Mom's page done. I tried to keep it close to the original but it's surprisingly difficult not to add more stuff. I compromised by adding lots of vellum layers under my photo instead.   |

MDscrapaholic great lift! I love how you kept the The little bit of the black border right around your page. I love the little cats perched on your journaling box too. kitbop I really like the additional strips in your photo columns, the pops of colours work so well with your photos.

You live in Ottawa? My DH was from Hull, Quebec! That's too funny! No, we live in more Southern Ontario, but my BIL and his family live in Ottawa so we are often at our "2nd home". That's why I used that title. The dog in the photo though...she's from Hull!!! |
