What is your favorite size of picture when you only use one picture on a layout? Recently it has been 6 x 8 for me.
I have used 5 x 7, but it seems a little small. And 8 x 10 almost seems to large. Especially if I include a title and embellishments.

I usually use 5x7 if I am putting just one photo on a page. That gives me room to multi mat and embellish, yet leave "white" space on the page. The only time I use 8x10 is if I have several people in the photo and I want to be sure they can be seen, or if my focus is a panoramic view, in which case I often put the title &/or embellishments &/or journaling right on the photo.

I print mostly 4x6 photos and I'll use a single 4x6 on a page. I also like 8x10 prints and I don't have a problem finding space for a title or journaling. Sometimes a big print is fun to work with, and a nice change of pace from all the 4x6 photos I scrap. I rarely remember to print 5x7 photos!

I usually use 4x6 but I just ordered some 4x4s from shutterfly that might be flying solo on a layout. I used a 4x8 a few times and loved working with that size!

I usually use retro prints that are like Polaroids so they're pretty small. Or I get 5x3.5" prints and sometimes I'll go large and use 6x4" lol! So pretty small for me.

4x6 is my usual - mostly because that's how I order the vast majority of my prints. If I know for sure when ordering that it'll be a solo photo on a page, then I'll order a 5x7 but that doesn't happen too often.
I scrap 8.5x11 so 5x7 is really as big as I go

I scrap 8.5x11 so a 4x6 is fine for me. At times the pictures my boys take on their phones are an odd size - bigger than 4x6, so I crop and save part of the photo, then crop and save the other part, and print both images and match them up into one whole photo. You can see this on 2 of the photos on the Boston Red Sox layouts I posted on the challenges thread. I think it comes out to be like a 5x6 or something.

I most commonly use 4x6, but like 5x7. I also LOVE enlargements like 12 tall by whatever I want.

I mostly use 4x6 because I usually print my photos in large batches and don't always know what will fit where in the album until after they are printed. If I love the photo I will print it at 8x12, although these are most often subject divider pages in my travel albums.

I've never ordered 6x8. I want to try it
I normally order 5x7 for my favorits that I think I might want to do a single photo page.
I like 4x12 too.

I mostly use 4x6, because I tend to batch print everything at that size. Sometimes I'll use 8x12 (actually, A4, which is more like 8.25 x 11.5) which I print at home for a feature page - as someone earlier said, as a divider page in a travel album, or as a start or finishing page in an album. I don't tend to use 5x7 or 6x8, just because I don't remember to get photos printed that size.

I use anything from a 5x7 up to 8x10, but it depends on what else is going on the page.

I scrap 9x12 so if I’m just using one pic it would usually be 4x6. In DD I do sometimes use a full page 6x8.

5x7 or larger. I don't think I've ever even made a page with a single 4x6.

I guess I should have added that I scrap 12 x 12. I have also done pages with one 6 x 9, 6 x 12, and 7 x 7 picture on the page. I love using different sizes. When I have multiple photos I frequently use 3/5 x 5, but have used as small as wallet size on a page. I have one LO that I am working on that will be wallet sizes in the shape of Christmas tree.

That's easy for me: 5x7. Because it's easy to order, not too expensive, and I order lots of my "favourite" or "stand alone" photos in this size. I should consider larger I suppose...
I will scrap a single 4x6, but not smaller I think. I'm currently working on a 5x5 - it was a square iphone picture!
