I have both a trash can and a recycling bin right next to my table. Me too - a trash can and a recycle box under my desk. Yep, me too! When my recycle box gets full, I just toss the whole thing in to the recycle bin. I have a tall trash can with the flippy-type lid that all of my "yucky" stuff goes in to... paint, glue, glitter, candy wrappers ( )... Somehow, years ago, DH made it his job to dump my trash can on garbage day. I love that I never had to deal with it, and it seems like it is always empty with a nice trash liner in it.. EDITED TO ADD: And, that was my 1,000 post!!! Whoohoo!

Mine is the old Chatterbox one - have the original drink with lid and straw - just use a plastic bag tied on. Love that bowl! For the life of me I know I had one too and I can't find it.. I have the big purple/yellow cup.. but don't have the gizmo it went into... I know I didn't sell it.. how do you lose such a weird item? (Maybe I left it at a crop somewhere with my Circut machine... OYE)

I do have a trash can next to the table when I'm working, but I deliberately put it a bit BEHIND me so I have to turn around to toss scraps into it. For the exact same reason... things have fallen off my work space accidentally before. My main problem now is that any long, skinny scraps of paper end up being pulled out of the trash and turned into cat toys, lol. (and then the dog eats them!) I also have a small folding bin on my desk for tossing teeny, tiny scraps... I think it was originally intended for sewing thread bits.

camcas , the bowl belonged to my grandmother who passed in 1989. I'm not sure if it's authentic Pyrex or not. On the bottom it says Fire King, but my grandma always called it her Pyrex bowl. It is colorful! actually, that Fire King bowl is part of a really collectible set of mixing bowls... depending on the market prices currently, of course- and depending on which size it is. It's gorgeous!! I also understand the nostalgic appeal of it, since it was your grandmother's; I still use my grandma's set of aluminum measuring spoons whenever I cook. ETA: here's an eBay listing for two of those bowls... I think the complete set is either three or four. (and the prices can be all over the place, but this gives you an idea.)

My table has a screw that sticks out from an attachment I don't use and hang a bag from there.

I'll have to ask around the family! It's a colorful reminder of my Mommom for me and I'm glad I'm using it.

I have a scrap table in the middle of my office and I hang a grocery bag off it for trash. I use those removable wall hooks, by Command, I think. I don’t like a bin taking up space on the floor. And I have little containers/small dishes ALL over my tables so they’re within arms reach when I’m working on projects.

Yes I do. I have 2 paper waste cans and 2 trash cans. Not that anyone would notice. I really need that craft room fairy.

I have one right beside me. About 5 times a week the puppy gets into it and runs with trash around the house. Replace "puppy" with "cat" and that's totally my situation. Me too! I really need to figure something else out. I feel like I am chasing the same garbage constantly. LOL

ADORABLE BOWL!!! I have a small "bathroom size" trash can under my desk. I don't usually need to dig into it - knock on wood.
