I don't! I've dropped too many things into it (accidentally) and either found them before the trash went out the door or lost them forever. I now keep a large vintage Pyrex bowl on my table, into which I toss my scraps and bits of whatever. When it gets full I empty it into the trash.

Yeah, I do have a trash can right next to my scrapping table. I have been known to dig through it a time or two after a scrap of paper. Really cute bowl, btw!

Mine is kind of under my desk so nothing can fall into it... although I did lose that powder tool for embossing one time and who knows... maybe that's where it ended up!!

I have this old Creative Memories (??) thing hanging on my table. I use a little tote bag that I attach with a binder clip. Behind me (I’m in the basement in a very makeshift area) is a regular trash bucket but I empty my bag into it, or dh does! I love your bowl! So pretty!!!

We used to have these at one of the LSS I would crop at! That bought back some memories!

Mine is the old Chatterbox one - have the original drink with lid and straw - just use a plastic bag tied on. Love that bowl!

Yes, I keep it under the table so nothing falls in accidentally.

I have a garbage can on the floor off to my left. But, if I'm working on a project, I usually keep my bits off to the side, that way I have them until I'm done. Ya know, just in case! LOL!

Mine is right behind me, but there have been times things have gotten knocked off the table into the trash can as I'm turning in my chair or grabbing something. Several years ago I did manage to throw my mouse away, I think it somehow got knocked into the bag attached to my drink holder. It wouldn't have made a sound so I didn't notice it until the next morning when it was gone...and of course the big trash can that I dumped my bag into at the end of the previous night had been taken out already!

KelleeM , I like how that bag doesn't take any real estate away from your scrappy table! That's one thing about the bowl, it's big and it's heavy, and it takes up some space. I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who has lost something scrappy to the trash bin!

I bought 2 trash cans at ikea. One for regular trash and another for recycle. It’s handy to have the recycle trash can upstairs so I don’t have to go all the way downstairs to to nonscrappy related recyclables.

I have a small dollar tree trash can near my area. I have dropped things in it occasionally but not too bad. I also have mesh fold out garbage bins for crops or for hen friends come over to crop. I have an extra table they sit at and I put a bin on it.

I have a metal mesh trash can from Ikea. It’s solid enough that the cats can’t knock it over. I keep it under the table so that I don’t accidentally drop anything into it and so that I don’t trip over it when I get up—again.

Actually it's just a paper bag! It is tucked underneath my table so stuff falling into it isn't a problem.

I have one right beside me. About 5 times a week the puppy gets into it and runs with trash around the house. It is kind of our thing. I empty it and then we do it again the next day.

Yes I have a cute aqua coloured bin, but I also use a bowl on my table whilst I’m working for little bits (backs off adhesive chipboard or foam dots etc) which I empty when I’m done working.

I have one right beside me. About 5 times a week the puppy gets into it and runs with trash around the house. Replace "puppy" with "cat" and that's totally my situation. I've also pulled scraps back out of my bin when I've decided I just need a little bit more of a pattern paper (or to use for messy stuff). I can't work on a messy desk so even the idea of piling up the rubbish on my desk like in all those youtube videos I watch drives me crazy!

camcas, the bowl belonged to my grandmother who passed in 1989. I'm not sure if it's authentic Pyrex or not. On the bottom it says Fire King, but my grandma always called it her Pyrex bowl. It is colorful!

I have a small rectangular IKEA trash can (I didn't buy the lid that goes with it) that sits on top of my desk. Nothing can accidentally fall into it but when I dump it into the big trash I usually sort recycling and plastic and go through it all anyway.

OP, the bowl is quite charming no matter who made it. It looks like it belongs on the desk. I create 2 double layouts on my desk at the same time, so my desk has very few things on it.
